Wife of Lone Wolf bikie Yusuf Nazlioglu alleged close call with gunmen who gunned down her husband

The wife of an infamous Lone Wolf bikie who was reportedly shot in the parking lot of his apartment building almost suffered the same fate the night before.

Yusuf Nazlioglu was reportedly shot when he drove his Mercedes into the basement of his Rhodes apartment building in southwest Sydney on June 27 last year.

His wife Jade, to whom he had been married for only four months, was in the passenger seat at the time and frantically called the police.

Nazlioglu was reportedly shot about 10 times and was rushed to hospital, where he died a short time later.

Jade is said to have narrowly escaped the same fate as her husband 24 hours earlier in the parking lot.

The gunmen were reportedly lying in wait with CCTV footage showing them getting out of their car and heading for the Mercedes, assuming Nazlioglu was in the vehicle.

The gunmen reportedly ran when they saw Nazlioglu’s wife get out of the driver’s seat of their Mercedes. Daily telegram.

On Wednesday morning, heavily armed police dragged Mohammed Hosni Khaled from his home in Blair Athol, southwest Sydney.

Khaled was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with planning and coordinating the murder of the Lone Wolf bikie.

Khaled allegedly fled the crime scene in a hatchback before setting fire to the getaway car and escaping on a scooter.

Police do not claim that Khaled was the gunman who fired the fatal shots that killed Nazlioglu.

On February 22, Khaled was reportedly charged with acquiring a gun despite a gun ban.

The weapon was found when police executed a search warrant in November last year.

However, there is no suggestion that the gun was used in connection with Nazlioglu’s death.

Following Khaled’s arrest, Detectives from Strike Force Claypinch and Task Force Erebus executed two more search warrants at homes in Mt Pritchard and Kemps Creek.

Detectives seized cannabis, cash, electronic devices and other items to undergo forensics during the raids.

The 25-year-old man was released on bail to appear in Campbelltown District Court later today.

Detective Danny Doherty said police will allege Khaled supervised Nazlioglu for weeks before he was killed in an alleged gangland hit.

“This was an organized crime murder — elaborately planned and staged murder,” Doherty said.

“We will argue that in the weeks leading up to the murder, the suspect helped guard the target, coordinated vehicles, did other activities on the day of the murder and the day after the murder, including burning out one of the used vehicles. .

“It will be alleged that an e-scooter was then used by the suspect with another person to leave the area where the last vehicle was set on fire in southwest Sydney.”

A Volkswagen, Mercedes and Range Rover were used in the alleged murder and then set on fire.

Doherty said Khaled’s arrest was a “significant breakthrough” and claimed that the people allegedly responsible for the attack had “complete disregard” for Nazlioglu’s wife.

“It is clear that those responsible completely disregarded the safety of not only her, but others who may have been in the vicinity,” Doherty said.

Underworld figures claimed that Nazlioglu was the gunman who shot and killed Comanchero bikie boss Mick Hawi outside a Fitness First Gym in Rockdale in February 2018.

Nazlioglu was charged with Hawi’s murder, along with his friend and fellow Lone Wolf member Ahmad ‘Adam’ Doudar.

Doudar, 38, pleaded guilty to complicity in Hawi’s murder and was sentenced to a non-parole period of three years and four months in prison.

After a week of deliberations, a jury found Nazlioglu not guilty of murder, but he subsequently pleaded guilty to an unrelated charge of possession of a firearm and was sentenced to three years in prison.
