An Italian woman stole a doctor’s gown to sneak into a hospital ward so she could have sex with her husband.
A shocked nurse walked into the emergency room in the northern city of Padua to find the woman half-naked romping with her partner on a hospital stretcher.
The couple performed the intimate act despite being surrounded by several other patients at the hospital.
When questioned, the 40-year-old woman tried to claim she was part of the medical staff, but was quickly detained and handed over to police, according to local media.
Hospital medics said the woman – who was reportedly intoxicated – even removed the cannula in her 31-year-old husband’s hand so he could move more easily.

The woman, who has not been named, had reportedly been removed from the property once before for harassing staff.
In an attempt to re-enter the premises, she stole a medic’s white coat so she could slip into the restricted ER ward unchallenged.
The woman was arrested on July 12 and taken to a police station, where she was identified.
The fake doctor is now charged with receiving stolen goods, practicing an unauthorized profession and impersonating an identity.
Italian police are still investigating the incident.
