Killer police director’s family breaks silence, claiming she’s dead because she fell under her deranged lover’s spell: ‘It all went downhill from there’

The family of police killer Stacey Train blames her husband and brother-in-law “controllers” for the shooting that left six dead.

Stacey Train, also known as Christoffel, was fatally shot by police in Wieambilla along with her husband Gareth and brother-in-law/ex-husband Nathaniel on Monday, after they killed two police officers and a neighbour.

An anonymous member of Stacey’s family broke their silence on Friday, saying they have had very limited contact with her since she left her first husband, Nathaniel, to marry her brother, Gareth.

“I knew Gareth was an asshole when he took over his brother’s wife,” the relative said. The Guardian.

‘It all went downhill from there. She is now dead because of them.

The family member said Stacey’s downward spiral began when she left her family’s church for Nathaniel’s father’s independent Christian congregation as a teenager.

I wish I never did. This would never have happened,’ they said.

The horrific shooting on Monday claimed the lives of dedicated regional police officers Matthew Arnold, 26, and Rachel McCrow, 29.

They had been dispatched to the property along with two other officers after receiving a tip that missing man Nathaniel Train was staying at the home. Nathaniel had last been seen in Dubbo, in west-central New South Wales, last year.

Assisting officers were met with a hail of bullets, forcing survivors Keeley Brough, 28, and Randall Kirk, 28, to flee.

A six-hour operation carried out by a specialized police team resulted in the deaths of the gunmen Stacey, Nathaniel and Gareth.

The neighbor, Alan Dare, was also shot and killed around 5:00 p.m. after arriving at the property to investigate the noise.
