Wieambilla shooting: Police officers were lured to their deaths by crazed love triangle

The ‘evil and murderous trio’ responsible for the deaths of two police officers and an innocent neighbor had a ‘sophisticated surveillance network’ set up on their property in rural Queensland.
New information has come to light about the facility on the Train family’s Wieambilla property as police continue to investigate the ambush that killed their colleagues.
Union leader Ian Leavers revealed after an inspection of the scene that it was clear “a plan was put in place” to execute the horrendous attack before it happened.

The four Queensland police officers, all under the age of 30, were called to Wains Road in Wieambilla, about a four-hour drive from Brisbane, for a wellness check on Monday afternoon.
Officers Rachel McCrow, 29, and Matthew Arnold, 26, were swiftly executed on arrival, while their colleagues Keely Brough and Randall Kirk, both 28, were left fighting for their lives.
“There was a sophisticated surveillance network that was put in place with plans and preparations by this ruthless murderous trio with a plan to assassinate police,” Leaver said.
‘This (plan) was put in place to attract the police… to maim or kill them.
“There were certainly preparations and plans that if the police were to attend that address, they would be harmed, which is exactly what occurred.
“I think when Rachel, Matt, Keely and Randall went in there, their lives were going to be on the line and they never had a chance.
Fortunately, Randall and Keely have survived.
Leavers said the entire tragic event was “confrontational” and expressed his condolences to the Dare family (pictured, locals pay their respects)
After announcing their presence by honking their horns, the four officers headed toward the house.
But when officers McCrow and Arnold jumped the locked fence, bullets rained down on missing New South Wales principal Nathaniel Train, his brother Gareth and Gareth’s wife, Stacey Train, a former teacher at Tara Shire State College.
Agent McCrow and Agent Arnold were instantly struck and fell to the ground.
Their guns and radios were taken by the assassins, who continued to shoot the couple, making sure they died.
“There was a sophisticated surveillance network that was put in place with plans and preparations by this ruthless murderous trio with a plan to assassinate police,” Leaver (pictured) said.
Leavers said it was “heartbreaking” to learn that the Train family had devised a “calculated plan” to cause as many injuries as possible to any officer who entered their property.
Officer Kirk was also shot in the leg during the deadly ambush, luckily he made it back to his police car as he had not jumped the fence.
Despite more bullets being fired at the car, he was able to drive away and call for help.
Meanwhile, his colleague Constable Brough had managed to escape on foot into a dense thicket.
But soon she was chased by the three criminals who chased her.
In their attempt to lure her back out into the open, the shooters continued to fire bullets into the bushes and set fire to the bushes in an attempt to smoke her out.
Unfortunately, Alan Dare, who lived nearby, had come to investigate after seeing smoke coming from the property.

He was tragically shot in the back while investigating what was happening.
Leavers called the entire tragic event “confrontational” and expressed his condolences to the Dare family.
“It’s also difficult for the police because we know that an innocent man was also killed, unfortunately out of hatred for the police,” he said.
“This innocent man was checking out a fire, which I know they do in that area because if a spot fire occurs in one area, it could easily spread.
“He was just a good neighbor going out to do the right thing and he was murdered in cold blood and that’s really heartbreaking for us as well.”
Mr Leavers explained that it would take “some time” before the final report to the coroner is made (in photo, police tape at the scene)
Police are expected to remain at the property for days while the investigation continues.
“To my colleagues who are looking at the scene, they know that a thorough investigation is required for Alan, Matt and Rachel so that all information can come to light and be beneficial to all,” Leavers said.
“But it’s important that we do this thorough investigation as well because the community wants answers as well, not just here in the local area but also in Queensland and Australia because this is such a barbaric and shameful act to have occurred.”
“It’s tough on (the investigative team) but they’re professionals and they’re going to get the job done because we owe it to all three of them, Alan, Rachel and Matt.”

“What will happen with the investigation being carried out by the Ethics Standards Command on behalf of the coroner, hopefully in two to three weeks a lot of the legwork can be done,” he said.
“But obviously we also have our forensic police and our ballistics experts and they will have to make their report.
I would suggest that it will be a long, detailed report that will go to the coroner.
‘That can take some time depending on the workload, but it’s important to get it done as quickly as possible, but it needs to be thorough so we can all stay on top of the information we have at hand.
We owe it to Allan, Matt and Rachel.
Queensland Police declined to comment on the ongoing investigation.
