Queensland man, 63, arrested and charged with more than 120 child sex offences over an 11-year period in Wide Bay Burnett and Capricornia regions
A 63-year-old man has been charged with more than 120 historic child sex offenses in regional Queensland.
Detectives from the Brisbane City Child Protection Investigation Unit arrested the man in East Brisbane on Thursday as part of Operation Victor Dialect.
The police operation has been active since October 2023 and is tasked with investigating alleged crimes between 1980 and 1991 in multiple locations.

The man is said to have committed offenses in the Wide Bay Burnett and Capricornia regions.
The 63-year-old has been charged with 96 counts of indecent treatment of girls under the age of 16, eight counts of indecent assault on women and one count of indecent assault.
He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
