Why UFC superstar’s WIFE won’t care that he has been relentlessly calling Hawk Tuah girl

Married UFC star Sean O’Malley has found his way into ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl Hailey Welch’s DMs, but that won’t leave him in the doghouse with his wife.

Welch, 22, rose to fame as the “Hawk Tuah” girl from a viral YouTube video posted in 2024, in which she used the phrase in reference to oral sex during a street interview.

She has since been signed by Jake Paul’s media company and has her own podcast, Talk Tuah, and a following of over 2.5 million fans on Instagram.

In her recent podcast with comedian Grace O’Malley and internet personality Brianna LaPaglia, she revealed that O’Malley had been messaging and calling her via Instagram.

“You said a UFC fighter, right?” she asked Grace, who answered yes.

‘What’s the name of that guy who’s been messaging me all week? The O’Malley boy?’ Welch asked Grace.

“Sean,” she replied.

“He has a child, doesn’t he?” Welch asked.

“What’s he sending you?” Grace asked back.

“He’s so nice, he just calls me and says, ‘What are you doing?’ and I’m like ah nuthin’,” Welch said.

“Didn’t he call you twelve thousand times before you said anything?” Then a bewildered Grace asked.

“I had five missed calls from him and I was like, what the hell,” Welch responded.

“I didn’t even know you could do that on Instagram.”

O’Malley is still with his wife Danya Gonzalez but claims they have an open relationship which he defended in September this year.

“When marriage was first introduced, people’s life expectancy was 21 years,” he said.

“It was so damn low, it was rare.

‘So you were only married for a few years. Now you have people who have been married for 40, 50, 60 years.’

However, their open marriage has a twist. Their relationship reportedly rests on a mutual understanding that while Gonzalez may be unfaithful, he must not stray.

The fan favorite defended their arrangement last year, saying he deserved to be unfaithful because he paid for everything.

“I am a king,” he said last year.

‘I pay for everything. I treat Danny like a queen.

‘If I get a bit of p*** out of it, what does that have to do with anything?

‘I have testosterone running through my veins – it’s that simple.

‘I wouldn’t say that if I was in the opposite position, if I wasn’t paying for everything, if I wasn’t successful.

“If I was an average Joe, it probably wouldn’t be fair. But I feel like I’m fucking King Kong.”

O’Malley has also admitted that their open relationship wasn’t always the case, but took on a bigger role as he became a superstar.

‘We listen. We listened to podcasts, learned about relationships and growing so we could figure out what relationship works for us,” he said,

‘I’m horny all the time and that doesn’t just apply to you [Gonzalez]. It took us years to get over that, but I told my truth.”

O’Malley rose to prominence in the UFC bantamweight division, capturing the title with a knockout victory over Aljamain Sterling.

Despite his success, he was criticized for inconsistent performances, including challenges against top candidates.

O’Malley is expected to defend his title, facing potential opponents such as Merab Dvalishvili.
