A Today show insider has revealed why new host Sarah Abo never talks about her decade-long marriage on air.
While her co-host Karl Stefanovic, 48, enjoys discussing his family life with wife Jasmine Yarbrough on the show, Sarah, 37, has avoided talking about her husband Cyrus Moran since joining Today this year.
According to a new report, Sarah is “very protective of Cyrus” and has made it clear to Nine Bosses that her husband is “off limits” during discussions on camera.

The former 60 Minutes reporter also avoids posting pictures of her husband on social media, having last pictured Cyrus on her feed in May last year as the couple celebrated their 40th anniversary.
Sarah shared a photo of the couple cuddling at a party and wrote, “Happy birthday. Beautiful, blurry, you. #fortyenfine.’
The couple previously lived together in Melbourne, but are now in a long-distance relationship, after Sarah moved to Sydney in January for her Today show.

Cyrus works as a merchant in a steel mill in Melbourne, helping to facilitate trade between Australian and international companies.
The couple, who have no children, quietly celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary in December when they attended a close friend’s wedding.
Both are graduates of Monash University, and Cyrus completed his Bachelor of Arts History in 2004, the same year Sarah began studying journalism there.

After getting married in 2012, the couple loved it a romantic honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia.
Sarah officially joined the Today show on Monday, January 16, which also includes newscaster Alex Cullen, entertainment reporter Brooke Boney and weather presenter Tim Davies.
She had been a familiar face to viewers of the Nine breakfast program, filling in for Allison numerous times last year.
Both are graduates of Monash University, and Cyrus completed his Bachelor of Arts History in 2004, the same year Sarah began studying journalism there.
