Why J.D. Vance told Kamala Harris to ‘go to hell’ in shocking response to CNN question

Vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance emphatically told Vice President Kamala Harris to “go to hell” during a campaign rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday afternoon.

Vance responded to criticism after former President Donald Trump attended a memorial service at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday to honor the 13 U.S. service members who died during the disastrous exodus from Afghanistan.

Democrats criticized the Trump campaign for taking photos and videos at the cemetery, and campaign workers reportedly clashed with a cemetery official who tried to stop them.

But Donald Trump and his team are responding negatively to claims that an altercation took place during his trip.

According to Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Trump’s campaign, a cemetery official tried to “physically block” members of Trump’s team.

“The fact is that a private photographer had access to the grounds and for some reason an anonymous person, who was clearly suffering from mental health issues, decided to physically block members of President Trump’s team from entering a very solemn ceremony,” Cheung said in the statement.

Trump supporters booed a CNN reporter at their campaign rally on Wednesday when he asked Vance about the controversy.

“For those 13 Americans to lose their lives and not fire anyone is outrageous… Kamala Harris is so asleep at the wheel that she won’t even investigate what happened, but she wants to call Donald Trump names for showing up. She can go to hell!” Vance said.

He then addressed the controversy surrounding the alleged conflict with the cemetery manager.

“The Arlington Cemetery skirmish is a matter of the media creating a narrative that I don’t think is there,” Vance said.

According to Vance, the campaign had received permission to send a photographer to the scene and the families of the slain service members had invited President Trump to attend.

“That is not an insult to the memories of their loved ones, they wanted Donald Trump to be there and thank God we have a president who wants to support our veterans instead of one who wants to walk away from them,” Vance concluded.

He added that veterans and their families were likely more concerned about former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ failure to hold the military accountable after those 13 service members lost their lives.

Trump supporters applauded and cheered loudly for Vance, chanting, “USA! USA!”
