Australians are divided over the actions of a man at a petrol station after a photo of him was shared on social media.
The photo shows the man driving to the pumps from the ‘no entry’ side of a Shell petrol station in Murray Bridge, southeast of Adelaide.
The Australian who shared the photo spoke out in frustration, saying: “The people doing this suck because when someone inevitably comes in the right way, now you’ve created congestion.”
But his comment had the opposite effect, as thousands of Australians admitted they regularly entered the petrol station from the side marked ‘no entry’.

“If that’s the only backup pump and my gas cap is on that side, you better believe I’m going to use it,” one person said.
“I won’t queue if there’s a spare pump,” a second added.
‘The servo I often go to only has a diesel pump on one side. I always go backwards,” said a third.
While most defended the driver, others described the act as ‘self-righteous’.
“What’s so hard to understand about No Access,” said one.
“The operator inside should use the microphone and tell him to go around and not just release the fuel,” a second added.
“Park in front of them and make them reverse,” a third claimed.
