Candice Warner has revealed that her husband David is prohibited from buying a deep fryer, so one of his friends helped him by buying one for him.

she revealed in Triple M rush hour with Gus, Jude and Wendell on Wednesday that David’s good friend and teammate Aaron Finch came to the rescue and ordered him the popular kitchen appliance because he was so desperate.

Candice shared the “funny story” about the deep fryer while explaining her husband’s strict allowance, which she insists on because he’s so bad with money.

“Dave always wanted a deep fryer and I was like, ‘No, you’re not going to have it.'” We didn’t have one and I didn’t want one in the house, but the next day I found a deep fryer on my front porch,” he said.

The former Ironwoman then explained that her husband had to get creative and asked his friend to order one for her online.

“Finchy bought it knowing I just didn’t want one in my house,” he said.

She revealed on Triple M Rush Hour with Gus, Jude and Wendell on Wednesday that David’s good friend and teammate Aaron Finch came to the rescue and ordered him the popular kitchen appliance because he was so desperate.

“It’s not that funny, but in context [Finch] He’s such a generous person, he’s funny, adorable and I think he’s going to be sorely missed.’

This comes as the Australian T20 captain has confirmed his retirement from international cricket.

Finch, 36, said: ‘Realizing that I won’t be playing until the next T20 World Cup in 2024, now is the right time to step down and give the team time to plan and build for that event.

Candice shared the ‘funny story’ about the deep fryer while explaining her husband’s strict allowance, which she insists on because he’s so bad with money.

‘Team success is what you play for and winning the first T20 World Cup in 2021 and lifting the ODI World Cup on home soil in 2015 will be the two memories I treasure the most.
