Dr Chris Brown’s Channel Ten co-star Amanda Kellar has revealed why she really jumped ship to rival network Seven.

Kellar, who starred in The Living Room with Brown for a decade, said Ten would only give him a month of work next year.

He went on to say that Brown still has his veterinary surgery and often worked there, but he wanted more TV jobs and Channel 10 just didn’t have them.

His co-host, Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones, quipped: ‘What is he supposed to do? Can’t you be squeezing your anal glands all the time?’

“Well, that’s what he did for the negotiations,” Keller replied.

‘He has ideas for his own shows and Channel Seven has said come and do it here and all the power to him.

‘Why doesn’t Chris jump somewhere where he’s offered a variety of jobs for a year?’
