What did Daly say about wearing the wristband?

Speak against ITV last year, Daly revealed that her father was the reason she played soccer.

“He was the reason I played football, really going back to my birth,” said the 31-year-old.

“I don’t think I would have gotten that passion for the game if it wasn’t for him.

“When I’m on the field, it’s not just about performing, it’s about performing to make my father even more proud than he already was.

“I think I carry that weight with me, but it’s a nice weight to have because it’s every game I want to do better and better.

“I know I’ll make him proud up there.”
