Why did Jess Ingham not attend cousin Tamie’s wedding? Chicken heiress and socialite notably absent

A slew of celebrities, family and friends showed up to Tamie Ingham and Guillaume Brahimi’s star-studded wedding in Paris this week, but one close relative was notably absent from the nuptials.

Tamie’s cousin Jess Ingham did not appear at the decadent two-day event.

Jess, the granddaughter of Jack Ingham, the co-founder of Ingham’s Chicken Empire, was staying in Australia with her second husband Roger Zraika, their six-month-old son Nemer and seven-year-old daughter Mimi.

Tamie is the granddaughter of Jack’s brother and business partner, Walter Ingham.

Jess confirmed to Daily Mail Australia on Friday that she was simply unable to attend due to “commitments” at home, avoiding any speculation about a family split.

Tamie and her celebrity chef, 55, wed Wednesday at Musée Rodin, before heading to the reception at Maxim’s de Paris, a restaurant serving champagne, caviar and refined French classics

“We couldn’t make it due to commitments here with our kids but we are so incredibly happy for Tam and can’t wait to celebrate with them when they get back!! She looked beautiful!’ she explained.

Jess, 33, shares a six-month-old son with Roger, while her daughter Mimi is from her previous marriage to Alex Macris.

They enjoyed their own lavish wedding in March 2021.

Jess looked fabulous in a $20,000 Vera Wang custom wedding dress that hung off her shoulders and featured tiered long bell sleeves with “love” embroidered on it in black.

Meanwhile, Tamie and her celebrity chef, 55, got married at Musée Rodin on Wednesday, before heading to the reception at Maxim’s de Paris, a restaurant serving champagne, caviar and refined French classics.

The pair were seen arriving at Maxim’s at around 10:15 pm to begin the festivities.

Among the star-studded guests were media mogul Lachlan Murdoch, 51, who served as a groomsman, and TV presenter Karl Stefanovic’s wife, Jasmine Stefanovic, 39, who was a bridesmaid.

Guillaume and Tamie have a base in the French capital. Tamie works as a shoe designer and Guillaume is a celebrated chef.

It is Guillaume’s second marriage after he split from his ex-wife Sanchia in 2016.

It’s wedding season for the hen heirs as the Ingham family will travel to Italy for Johnny Ingham’s wedding to Rey Vakili.

There will be a star-studded event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Taormina, with the likes of Kate Waterhouse and Luke Ricketson reportedly in attendance.

Johnny’s future wife Rey studied political science at Yale in the US and rose to prominence in fashion circles after a stint as personal assistant to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Johnny and Rey have been a couple since 2018. After a breakup, they rekindled their romance in 2021.

Finally, the Ingham family concludes their summer of love with Katie Ingham’s wedding in Tuscany, Italy. She will tie the knot with her beau Ali Rosenberg.
