Why The Bear star Jeremy Allen White is Hollywood's new leading man – after his huge Golden Globes win and sizzling Calvin Klein photoshoot

Jeremy Allen White set his foot on the Hollywood scene in 2011 when he landed his breakout role as Phillip 'Lip' Gallagher in the comedy-drama series Shameless.

Now the 32-year-old actor has catapulted to astonishing success after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series for his role in The Bear.

The TV star has also won the hearts of an avid fanbase following his sizzling photoshoot for Calvin Klein, where he showed off his toned body.

In it, the hunk showed off his chiseled abs and strong biceps as he went shirtless for the underwear campaign.

Jeremy rocked the iconic brand's briefs as he posed on top of a New York City building for iconic photos taken by Mert Alas.

“Every time I think I'm over that Jeremy Allen White Ad I see it, but I'm not,” one fan gushed about the steamy campaign.

Another said: 'I hate to hate all the ladies who are thirsty for Jeremy Allen White, but the Calvin ad really changed everything for me.'

Despite his very attractive appearance, Hollywood's newest leading man didn't get where he is just by looking pretty.

After dropping his steamy new ad, the Iron Claw star looked sharply dressed as he attended the Golden Globes on Sunday.

The star sizzled on the red carpet in a sleek black suit with his hair in the usual messy curls, although he showed off a hint of his new abs with a sheer top.

Jeremy triumphed on the night of nights in Hollywood, taking home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for his role in The bear.

“I love you guys so much,” he said after giving specific shout-outs as he accepted the award.

“I must have done something right in this life to be in your company. Thanks guys. Thank you so much!'

He then mentioned the two children he shares with ex-wife Addison Timlin.

'Ezer and Dolores, you are my heart. I love you. I love you. I love you,” he continued.

'Thank you. Thank you very much,” he continued.

'I feel so lucky to be able to do this. Thanks guys.”

Jeremy beat out Bill Hader, Jason Segel, Jason Sudeikis, Martin Short and Steve Martin for the honor.

Fans flocked to Twitter to express their support and congratulations for the star's huge win.

One fanatic wrote, “Real people knew Jeremy Allen White had this potential since the Shameless days.”

Another said: 'The Bear is just one of those shows that stays with you after you watch it. Jeremy Allen White's performance in this is excellent.'

“Kieran Culkin and Jeremy Allen White won the Golden Globes, smile on my face,” a third added.

FX has confirmed that The Bear will return for a third season in 2024, with filming set to begin in February or March of this year.
