A well-mannered tradie has been praised for taking off his muddy boots outside a sandwich shop.
A photo of a pair of dirty work boots outside a Subway fast food restaurant in Oxley in Brisbane's south-west drew admiration from Reddit users last week.
“Have a lot of respect for the tradie who took off his dirty boots before heading to the subway,” the caption read.

A person claiming to work for a workwear and safety retailer said he would give a 'secret discount' to tradesmen who take off their dirty boots.
“I have to vacuum the floor after the dirty bastards trample dirt and mud all over my store, so I reward the good people who are respectful,” the store employee wrote.
Another said: 'I would hire this guy because he knows how to deal with people who like clean.'
