Who’s in Trump’s box: Tucker Carlson, J.D. Vance, son Don Jr. and Kimberly Guilfioyle take their seats with the bandaged former president
Former President Donald Trump seated family members, key political allies and his newly elected Vice President-elect — Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio — in the box where he sat during his guest appearance Monday night at the Republican National Convention.
Seated in the front row next to Trump were former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Rep. Byron Donaldson and House Speaker Mike Johnson, as well as his wife, Kelly.
Behind the president were Kimberly Guilfoyle with her fiancé Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and his wife Lara Trump, and Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulos.
Melania, Ivanka and Barron Trump have not yet appeared at the convention in Milwaukee.
Trump made a dramatic entrance Monday night wearing a bandaged ear — a reminder that he had been shot by an assassin just two days earlier.

Lee Greenwood, the musician who plays Trump’s classic song God Bless the USA, was on hand to perform the song.
He spoke dramatically about Trump’s survival of Saturday’s assassination attempt, praising his “resistance against someone who tried to kill him.”
“You’re not going to catch this guy,” Greenwood said.
Earlier on Monday, Trump officially secured the Republican nomination.
The state of Florida gave him a higher number of delegates than required and his family members were also present at the time.

Trump was not officially scheduled to appear at the party convention in Milwaukee on Monday night, but made a similar move when he was the Republican nominee in 2016. The last time traditional party conventions were held was four years ago due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
