Who knew they were mates? Troubled AFL star Ben Cousins parties with house DJ Dom Dolla at Spilt Milk music festival
House DJ Dom Dolla has been performing to cheering audiences across Australia over the past week as the Spilled Milk music festival swept across the country.
But in his spare time the Australian producer, 31, appears to have struck up a friendship with troubled AFL star Ben Cousins, who attended Sunday's event in Perth.
The unlikely 'besties' were seen with their arms around each other as they posed for a cheerful photo that Dom shared to his Instagram on Wednesday.
“Festi besties everywhere,” the music artist captioned the post, which featured a slew of photos from his time performing alongside the likes of Post Malone.
Ben, 45, and Dom wore almost matching outfits of black T-shirts and trousers, although the footy player opted for jeans while his mate slipped into corduroy trousers.

The festival is an unusual outing for Ben, who recently started his new career as sports presenter for Seven News Perth in June.
The West Coast great recently turned his life around after a series of difficult spells that saw him spend time behind bars and battle drug addiction.
He told Sunrise presenter Natalia Barr during an interview in September that “life was good” and that he was grateful for the opportunity to work at Seven.
The festival is an unusual outing for Ben, who recently started his new career as sports presenter for Seven News Perth in June.
He admitted it has been a “long road” and said: “I wish it didn't have to turn out the way it has, but life is great right now.
“When you strip everything back and assess your life, it's in its simplest form for everyone: It goes back to what makes you happy and that wasn't me for a long time.”
“But you know, I very much am these days,” he added, admitting that his new foray into sports presenting was “daunting.”
“I've done quite a bit of work over the last 18 months leading up to going live, so there's definitely some anxiety and nerves involved, so it's a work in progress.”
Ben played 238 games and scored 205 goals for West Coast between 1996 and 2007, winning the premiership in his penultimate season in Perth.
The former midfielder captained the Eagles from 2001 to 2005, winning the club's best and fairest honors in four of those five seasons.
He was suspended by the club in March 2007 – just six months after the grand final win against Sydney – for alleged substance abuse, and sacked six months later after being arrested for drug possession and refusing to submit to a blood test.
