Who is Treat Williams’ wife, Pam Van Sant?

Pam Van Sant was an actress and producer, best known for her work on the 1995 television series American Masters.

She has been married to Treat since 1988 and shared two children with the late actor. They lived a quiet life together in their $1 million home in Vermont.

Pam supported Treat’s career and often performed with him in public to promote his work.

She attended movie and television show premieres and sometimes brought their children along.

Before his sudden death, Treat often shared photos of his wife on social media and one of his last Twitter posts paid tribute to her on Mother’s Day.

Treat wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day Pam. You raised two extraordinary people. What a great mother you are. I am grateful.’

Together with her children, the devoted wife shared a statement deadline just hours after his death.

“It is with great sadness that we report that our beloved Treat Williams passed away tonight in Dorset, Vermont following a fatal motorcycle accident.

“As you can imagine we are shocked and very saddened at this time. Treat was full of love for his family, for his life and for his craft, and was truly at the top of his game in all of this.

“We are devastated and ask that you respect our privacy as you process our grief. To all his fans, please know that Treat appreciated you all and please continue to keep him in your hearts and prayers,” the statement read, captioned by “The Williams Family.”

Treat William’s welcomed his first child Gill in December 1992 and took him to many Hollywood events in his youth.

Gill attended red carpet events and movie premieres with his mother and father, and seemed comfortable in the spotlight from a young age.

His most recent performance was in 2019 for a 40th anniversary screening of Hair at the Metrograph Theater in New York City.

Gill followed in the footsteps of his famous father and appeared in a few short films in 2015. He even teamed up with Treat on one project, as his dad shared on Twitter: ‘Acting with my son Gill today. Life is perfect’, in 2015.

Treat’s youngest child Ellie Williams was born in September 1998. Like her older brother, Ellie was familiar with film and TV from an early age.

The actor tweeted a photo of his daughter on the set of Chicago Fire in 2015. “My daughter Ellie was on set all day. You think she would be bored,” he wrote.

After graduating from the University of Vermont, Ellie moved to Los Angeles and spent time with her father whenever he could visit.

Ellie recently shared a photo of her and Treat on a trip to Universal Studios. “Daddio and I went to the Wizarding World,” she captioned the Instagram post.

Just a week before his death, Treat shared a photo of his daughter on Instagram and wrote, “I miss your daughter.”
