Rebecca Loos is now happily married to her husband Sven Christjar Skaiaa, who she claimed looked ‘nothing like’ David Beckham.
The Dutch glamor model and reality TV star made headlines in 2004 after she allegedly had an affair with the football megastar while working as his family’s PA.
It didn’t attract much reaction from Beckham at the time. So she never thought for a second that he would discuss the subject – albeit obliquely – after so long.
Yet Beckham’s untitled Netflix series is drawing record-breaking ratings and ‘tells the story of a global football star and cultural icon’, with no subject ‘off the table’ – not even the affair.
But Rebecca has since broken her silence and is trying to put the scandal behind her.
She admitted she is now ‘happily married’ – but who is her husband and how many children do they share?

Comparing her husband to former England captain David, Rebecca said: ‘He would never in a million years have an affair. He is different from David (Beckham). I would never cheat or lie to Sven because I love him so much.’
Rebecca’s husband Sven is a Norwegian doctor.
According to his LinkedIn, he is a dedicated physician in the Royal Norwegian Air Force and has worked as a helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) and search and rescue (SAR) specialist since 2016.
He now lives in Norway and his wife regularly shares photos of them on social media, enjoying nature and outdoor activities.
Rebecca previously said: ‘(Sven and I) are as in love as the day we met and I’m so proud of him. We are an excellent team. I fully support everything he does.”
When did Rebecca and Sven meet and how long have they been married?
Rebecca met Sven while he was working behind the scenes as a medic at 71 Degrees North in 2008.
The couple married in 2012 in a small ceremony before moving to Hemsedal in the mountains to start a new life.
Rebecca claimed people thought she was ‘crazy’ for jumping headlong into a relationship with a man she ‘barely knew’.
‘But look at everything I have now, I’m so happy. I don’t regret it, I’m so happy with my life now. But a lot of people are so afraid of change,” she said.
‘Change is good, change is how you learn, people just have to go for it.’
The former PA said she knew Sven was ‘The One’ but was in no rush to get married.
She also compared him to former England captain David, saying: ‘He would never in a million years have an affair. He is different from David (Beckham). I would never cheat or lie to Sven because I love him so much.’
She broke her silence after the Beckham documentary was released, saying: ‘The simple truth is that I am very happily married. I have a wonderful wife and two special children. There is nothing a third party can do to change these facts.”

Mrs Loos adds that if she had not had an affair, she would not have taken part in a reality TV series, the Dutch version of 71 Degrees North, where she met her husband.

The couple’s small hamlet in the Norwegian mountains, where they live with their children, is so remote that it is a three-hour drive from the nearest airport and a two-hour drive to the nearest hospital.
In between walks and a long bike ride, Rebecca told MailOnline how she has embraced domestic bliss: ‘I love my house, keeping it clean, cooking for my boys, packing the lunch boxes – that’s my territory.
‘If my husband dares to interfere, I say: ‘hands off!’ The lawn, the snow plowing and the barn are all his.”
“I would never be one of those women who put their careers on hold, who reach out to their husbands for permission. I used to think that was the worst.
‘That’s all changed. I feel like I’ve grown up. Now we are a team.’

Despite the regrets, Rebecca says she doesn’t hide anything from her family and makes sure she talks to her sons about her life before motherhood.
‘I’m very open about everything. They know that mom has been a nude model and has been on the cover of Playboy… They know that their mom has a naughty side!’ she said.
Rebecca admitted that there was a time when she “left the house at 9 p.m. and came home at 6 a.m.,” said she now goes to bed at 9 p.m. and her day typically starts at 6 a.m.
She added: ‘We are constantly evolving and that was a great phase in my late 20s.’
