Kaitlyn plays Belle Gibson

It comes amid reports that infamous Dever fraudster Belle Gibson is about to be thrust back into the spotlight thanks to an upcoming Netflix show based on her cancer scam – and it looks like the attention has finally become too much for her long-suffering partner.

Gibson, now 32, once claimed she had terminal brain cancer, which could be cured by simply eating healthy food – but it was later discovered she never had the disease.

Her blatant lie became a cause célèbre in Australia, and the story of ‘Healing Belle’ will soon be told around the world when the six-part drama starring Emmy-nominated actress Kaitlyn Dever hits screens.

As well as her sordid past being dredged up, Belle has also been dealt another blow by apparently parting ways with her boyfriend and ‘housemate’ Clive Rothwell.

Gibson previously shared a rental home with Rothwell, who, according to a source, acted as a “stepfather” to her son Oliver.

Rothwell paid most of the rent on the home they once shared, and even used the money to take Gibson and her son on a month-long trip to Africa in 2019.

However, the relationship the pair once had appears to have soured, and Ny Breaking Australia can confirm that Rothwell has moved into a new two-bedroom apartment on another side of the city.

He has also been seen with another woman, and an eyewitness says they did not see Belle or her son anywhere near Rothwell’s new home.

Mr Rothwell declined to comment when contacted by Ny Breaking Australia.

It is possible that news of the development of the Netflix project caused fear and shame for the notoriously private Mr. Rothwell.
