American actress Kaitlyn Dever is in Melbourne to film her role as cancer fraudster Belle Gibson in a new Netflix series.
The 26-year-old film star has scored the leading role in the six-part series that will provide a never-before-seen insight into the life of Belle Gibson.
Dever is no stranger to challenging roles; he previously worked with Leonardo DiCaprio in J. Edgar in 2011 and George Clooney in Ticket to Paradise.
The Arizona-born star is in for a big change of scenery in the coming months as she swaps sunny Los Angeles for the spirited Victorian weather.

Who is Kaitlyn Dever?
Dever was born on December 21, 1996 in Phoenix, Arizona.
She made her film debut in Bad Teacher in 2011 alongside Cameron Diaz and has since worked with a host of critically acclaimed actors.
She has also worked alongside DiCaprio in J. Edgar and Tim Allen in the sitcom Last Man Standing.

Mr Rothwell declined to comment when contacted by Ny Breaking Australia.
