Who is Tana Ramsay?
Cayetana Elizabeth Ramsay, called Tana, was born in Croydon and raised on a farm in Kent, surrounded by chickens and cows.
At the age of 17, her family moved back to London, where she attended school in Holland Park before training to become a Montessori teacher.
How did she meet Gordan?
According to an article in The guardTana, 49, was engaged to someone else before meeting Gordan, 57, at a party on New Year’s Eve.
She didn’t think much of the TV chef and described him as ‘a complete arrogant bastard’.
But when the two randomly bumped into each other – he had a motorcycle at a flat Tana shared with a mutual friend – they started going out.
They married in 1996, when Tana was 21.
In July 2021, while clearing out some old stuff, Tana came found her wedding dress and uploaded a video of her gyrating in it.
She captioned the photo: ‘Cleaning out our house and digging up my wedding dress – 25 years and 5 pregnancies later and happy to say it still fits #mamasstillgotit @gordongram’.

How many children do they have?
Tana and Gordon have six children together.
Their first daughter, Megan, was born in 1998, followed by twins Holly and Jack in 2000 and daughter Matilda ‘Tilly’ in 2001.
In 2016, Tana suffered a miscarriage, which she has been very open about over the years. She shared an emotional post on Instagram earlier this year to mark seven years since they lost their child they named Rocky.
The couple’s rainbow baby, son Oscar, was born in 2019.
Gordan announced the arrival of their sixth child, Jesse James Ramsay, on his Instagram.
The celebrity chef, 57, posted a heartwarming photo of him kissing his newborn on the head as Tana, 49, cradled him in her arms.
Gordon shared the announcement on Instagram, saying the birth was a “great birthday present” as his birthday falls on November 8. They kept this last pregnancy a secret.
The mother of six has previously admitted she wants more children to speak up Hello! magazine in 2021: “You know, the thing is, I love babies so much, but I think I’ll still be saying that when I’m in my 70s!”
She added: ‘I don’t think there will ever be a time when I’ll say, “Oh my God, never, ever again.”’
“But let’s just say I count my blessings and think I’m extremely lucky. I’m just loving every moment of this.”

With a passion for cooking, Tana published her first cookbook in 2006, followed by five other titles, including Real family food from Tana Ramsay in 2009 and I like baking in 2011.
The busy mum is a regular contributor to a range of newspapers and magazines, including the Ny Breaking Weekend and Waitrose Food Illustrated.
