Actress and writer Donna Preston has revealed she had a secret feud during filming Channel 4 is afraid of the dark with Chris Eubank.
Appearing on Coronation Street once in 2018, 36-year-old Donna said she didn’t even meet the 56-year-old boxing legend.
While Donna has made her mark in the world of television and now even movies, the soap star has spoken candidly about her behind-the-scenes feud with Chris.
The sportsman has yet to speak out against Donna’s accusation, but the actress revealed that he hated her from day one.
Despite shooting together for the show, it seems Donna didn’t know who was competing next to her.

Who is Donna Preston?
While Donna has appeared in several TV shows and movies, the upcoming comedy star is best known for hosting Apocalypse and for a circus performance role in 2018’s Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald.
Aside from her role as Den in Corrie, she starred in Pants On Fire in 2019 and even wrote and co-produced BBC Three’s Comedy Threesomes.
From 2019 to 2020, Donna has participated in numerous comedy skits for Channel 4 such as Popping Up and now she is doing Channel 4’s Scared Of The Dark alongside other celebrities including football star Paul Gascoigne, Love Island’s Chloe Burrows and The Wanted’s Max George.

What is the “secret feud” between her and Chris about?
Speaking about her feud with boxing legend Chris, Donna revealed that she had no idea who the other contestants would be on the show.
She said, “We didn’t know who would be in there — I think I knew everyone.
But with Chris Eubank, I was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s Chris Eubank, this is amazing,'” she added.
“But he shot me. I think I thought, “Oh my god, absolute legend,” and he thought, “Absolutely not.”‘
Donna felt like he had hated her from day one, but she added, “That’s okay, that’s okay, some people don’t like me.”

What did the other participants think of Chris?
While other celebrities, including comedian Chris McCausland, said his challenges were being in a small space with Chris.
He added: “It’s hard because you have an idea of what Chris Eubank is and he’s just like that, but he didn’t surprise me, but he was more Chris Eubank than Chris Eubank would be.”
Chris went on to say that he and other contestants spent a day handcuffed to him, adding that he “couldn’t get away from him.”

What else did Donna say before joining?
“My concern is breaking something, hurting myself. Yes, that’s my fear, because I can imagine it. So you take baby steps because I will be.
“I’ll be tense and then I’ll have all these buttons and stuff. I step out and I will literally be solid. Yeah, so I guess my biggest concern is breaking something. And also, since we’ve been trained to think it’s dark bedtime, I hope I’m just not sleeping constantly because that would be awful, wouldn’t it?
“I’d say, ‘Guys, I’m sorry. I can’t function.’ It’s getting interesting. Also a huge challenge, but a good challenge.
“Because God forbid, touch wood, if anything ever happens in life that makes you, I don’t know, lose your sight or something like that, this is a huge training program I guess.
“You have to think about things like that, but I mean, hopefully I don’t lose my sight.”
