Who is Gabrielle McRae?
Gabrielle McRae married husband Craig in 2022 and the couple expected Maggie to arrive in mid-October, welcoming the little girl two weeks early.
She became the center of attention when she was spotted in the venues after Collingwood’s preliminary final win over GWS Giants last week.
Gabrielle has offered her unwavering support to Craig during Collingwood’s finals campaign.
Speaking to Channel 7, McRae said: ‘My wife is amazing. She gave birth yesterday afternoon, didn’t tell me, she just said she wasn’t feeling well.
‘I got a call this morning around a quarter to six saying, ‘You better go to the hospital, this baby is coming.’

Who is Craig McRae?
McRae is a former premiership-winning AFL footballer and is now a premiership-winning coach.
The 50-year-old is a popular figure in football circles and played for the Brisbane Lions, where he won three consecutive flags in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
He was known for his goal-scoring ability and was a hard tackler. McRae retired from football in 2004 and has worked as a coach at several clubs, including the Lions, Richmond, Hawthorn and Collingwood.
He won the VFL premiership as head coach of the Tigers’ affiliate club, Coburg, in 2019.
