Sophia Bush has reportedly sparked a romance with women’s soccer star Ashlyn Harris.

The 41-year-old actress and the 37-year-old athlete “are officially a thing” – according to TMZ.

“After being friends for years and running in the same social circles, Sofia and Ashlyn went on their first dinner date a few weeks ago,” the source said Peoplenoting that the romance is ‘recent’.

The One Tree Hill alum and the athlete certainly have a lot in common, as they are both recently divorced.

Ashlin was born to Tammie and Mike Harris in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

The 5’9″ athlete has an older brother named Chris.

The athlete played club soccer with boys’ teams until the age of 14, and in 2003 she won the national championship with the U-17 Indian Atlantic Force.

Harris attended Satellite High School in Satellite Beach, helping her team win championships her sophomore and junior years, 2002 and 2003.

The star, who also became the first NVSL player to reach 500 saves, was named the 2016 NVSL Goalkeeper of the Year.

The former USA Women’s National Team goalkeeper retired at the end of 2022 after 12 professional seasons.

She made 25 appearances for the USVNT and is a two-time World Cup winner.

Harris was married to fellow soccer star Ali Krieger for nearly four years, and the two women dated for a total of 13 years.

However, the marriage did not last, and Harris filed for divorce from Krieger, 39, on September 19, saying their union was ‘irretrievably broken’.

The former N/A Gotham FC goalkeeper and center back are parents to two young children – daughters Sloane Phillips Krieger-Harris, 2; and son Ocean Maeve Krieger-Harris, 15 months – whom they adopted in 2021 and 2022.

Like her new love, Bush is also recently divorced.

The actress filed for divorce from husband Grant Hughes on August 4 after 13 months of marriage, but they planned to “continue to run” their non-profit Bush Hughes Foundation for Progress together.

Technically, it was the SoCal native’s second marriage after divorcing her One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray in 2006 after just five months.
