Who did Kayne West punch? Meet brothers Mark and Jonnie Houston as singer hit ‘wrong twin’ after Bianca Censori was allegedly assaulted

Kanye West was embroiled in a conflict with twins Mark and Jonnie Houston on Wednesday after a man allegedly attacked his wife Bianca Censori.

The 46-year-old rapper allegedly punched the ‘wrong twin’ after he got into a fight at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.

New reports appeared TMZ claim Kanye hit one of the twins, who own numerous bars and restaurants in LA.

Kanye and Bianca, 29, state that Bianca initially encountered one of the brothers who saw him proceed to attack her – despite there being no evidence to support their claims.

Here, MailOnline takes a look at who twins Mark and Jonnie are after Kanye mixed them up.

Who are Mark and Jonnie Houston?

Identical twins Mark and Jonnie own Los Angeles hotspots such as No Vacancy, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s, Black Rabbit Rose and Break Room 86.

The brothers are both twins and business partners and regularly interact with celebrities such as Diana Ross and Bella Thorne.

Mark, who posts avidly on his social media, shares his lavish lifestyle with his 14,000 Instagram followers.

The duo grew up in their mother’s bar, MonteCarlo, and later moved to her next bar on Hollywood Boulevard.

Since growing up in the busy atmosphere, Mark and Jonnie have become the city’s most prominent club owners.

But growing up, the twins never wanted to own their own cafe or continue their mother’s legacy.

Speaking to Los Angeles magazine in 2023, the brothers revealed that they embarked on very different careers when they left school.

Mark said: ‘We were eighteen. Growing up in a bar, that wasn’t going to be our life.’

Now Mark and Jonnie have ten clubs in the city, and plenty in the pipeline for their future.

Mark recently paid a sweet tribute to his beloved twin brother Jonnie with a gushing Instagram post on National Twin Day.

He wrote: ‘Double the effort, double the fun! Celebrating National Twin Day with my amazing brother and business partner! Together we overcome challenges, create innovative solutions and make dreams come true.’

Which twin did Kayne hit?

TMZ’s sources call Bianca’s allegations “completely baseless and simply not accurate,” as there is no evidence to support her claims.

The sources claim that a man encountered Bianca in the lobby, which was said to be quite busy at the time.

The incident happened quickly and the man continued on his way and went outside to sit with some friends.

Shortly afterwards, Kanye came to the table to confront the man, ultimately punching the man in the face twice.

However, he apparently hit the wrong man: the other twin brother and not the one Bianca bumped into in the lobby.

It’s unclear at this time which of the twins ran into Bianca and which ended up getting punched by Kanye.

The Houston twins are said to be at the Chateau Marmont quite a bit, although it’s unclear if they’ve interacted with Kanye before.

The rapper left the hotel after the incident, long before police arrived, and police wanted to talk to Kanye after the altercation.

Law enforcement sources have found no evidence that either brother assaulted Bianca in any way.

An investigation is underway and will be sent to the city attorney for review to see if any official charges will be filed.

Despite no evidence being found, Kanye’s team is convinced that Bianca was attacked that night.

“This was a physical, sexual assault and any attempt to undermine the seriousness of what happened is abhorrent and despicable,” one of Kanye’s reps said in a statement.
