Their fellow London rivals, Chelsea, are another team that has suffered from injuries this season. The side have had a torrid start to the new season and currently sit in 14th place following their recent defeat to Aston Villa.

Manchester City suffered a setback last month: Kevin De Bruyne lost due to injury. However, Pep Guardiola’s team has not let his absence dampen their spirits. The champions are currently top of the table and have won all their league matches so far.

Arsenal – 5

Mikel Arteta’s side have at least five key players currently sidelined due to injury.

Jurrien Timber will be out for a few months after suffering a serious injury during Arsenal’s win over Nottingham Forest in the first game of the season.

Declan Rice is another player that will have Gunners fans sweating. The star midfielder was taken off at half-time in the north London derby against Tottenham on Sunday with a back injury. Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli and Thomas Partey are the other injured players.

Brighton and Hove Albion-5

Roberto De Zerbi’s Seagulls are another side that have a few key players unavailable for selection – with five current first-team players out injured.

Star man Julio Enciso will be out for a ‘long’ period with a meniscal cartilage injury in a knee. The youngster suffered the setback in training following their opening day win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

James Milner, Lewis Dunk and Pascal Gross are also on the sidelines, while Jakub Moder is out for a long period of time.

Chelsea-9
