Widely recognized as The Godfather, Al Pacino has a more intimate family bond off screen as the father of three – a number that will soon rise to four when young lover Noor Alfallah gives birth later this year.
Despite never marrying, the 83-year-old has enjoyed countless high-profile romances since establishing himself as one of Hollywood’s top acting talents in the early ’70s.
And two of them have resulted in children, with Pacino welcoming daughter Julie Marie, his eldest child, with acting coach Jan Tarrant in 1989.
A later relationship with actress Beverly D’Angelo produced twins Anton James and Olivia Rose in January 2001, just three months before his 61st birthday.
But while the soon-to-be father-of-four Pacino still enjoys the spotlight, his kids have largely shied away from the public eye.

Julie Pacino, 33
Born on October 16, 1989, Julie grew up in New York City and soon developed an ambition to follow her famous father into the film industry.
After studying at the New York Film Academy, she founded the production company Poverty Row Entertainment in 2009 with good friend Jennifer DeLia.
To date, the company has produced short projects, including music videos and branded content, focusing on themes such as gender and sexuality.
Her work has led to a series of accolades, including the Best Director Award at the 2020 Venice Shorts Film Festival and the Silver Award for Comedy at the Hollywood Gold Awards.
She said, “As a production company, we have also produced music videos and commercials.
“The short format work we do is so much fun. It’s great to be able to work on something from start to finish and have that experience on set. I learn something new every time.’

Pacino launched the second production company Tiny Apples in 2020, with the new series Harmony in Gold – co-written by the filmmaker – shortly after.
“We are excited to announce Tiny Apples,” she said in a press release. We welcome the wild and can help bring your craziest expressions to life.
“Tiny Apples will create the kind of content we’d like to see: fun, dark, compelling stories that people can connect with.”
Anton James, 22
Born via IVF in Los Angeles on January 25, 2001 and twin with sister Olivia, Anton is perhaps the most withdrawn of Pacino’s three children.
Unlike many people of his generation, the 22-year-old has no social media footprint and seems to shy away from the spotlight.
Rare photos of Anton have been taken in Southern California, while his red carpet appearances alongside Pacino have been rare in recent years.
Speaking to The Guardian in 2015, Pacino said: ‘Before I had my three, I was walking around in my own head not noticing anything. It used to be that acting was everything; now it’s only a small part thanks to them.’

Actress mom Beverly D’Angelo, who played Ellen Griswold in the National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise, recently opened up about her relationship with Pacino – who will be 100 when his fourth child turns 18 – and how they overcame the “complicated” divorce to lovingly working together – parent Anton and Olivia.
“My story with Al started 27 years ago when two artists met and fell in love,” she said on Instagram earlier this month.
D’Angelo said they “lived together for seven years, had two kids,” and eventually “separated.”
Despite their breakup, she wrote, “they carried on steadily [their] journey as fellow parents – and came to share [their] lives with a deeper kind of intimacy, honesty and acceptance than a ‘traditional’ relationship would have allowed.’

Olivia Rose, 22
Unlike her twin brother, Olivia is very active on social media and regularly gives her 16,000 followers updates on her life in Los Angeles.
In June 2020, she paid tribute to her famous dad on Father’s Day by posting, “Happy Father’s Day to the most amazing dad ever! You are my best friend.’
Mother D’Angelo previously revealed that she and Pacino bonded through their mutual passion for their craft.
She said, “I lived with Al for seven years and we have two kids; in 1996 we were on the same plane from Los Angeles to New York.
“He sat across from me, he said come sit next to me and by the time the plane landed it was done.”

She said the following year, “He looked me in the eye and said, ‘I want you to be the mother of my children.'”
She continued, “Even though I had avoided that role all my life, I was deeply in love and was 100 percent into it.”
She said they completed a round of in vitro fertilization in 1997, and “with great effort and the wonders of modern science” they welcomed their twins in 2001.
But eventually things got “complicated” and their “split was finalized in 2004.”
She added: “The strength of our love for our children was the foundation for resolving any conflicts and creating a new history as co-parents, living individual lives separately, but always intertwined as a family.”
