Whitney Port steps out in sweats during an errand run in LA…after star ‘set the record straight’ about her weight loss

Whitney Port was stylishly casual as she headed to Los Angeles on Thursday for an errand — after claiming concerns about her weight loss had been “blown out of proportion.”

The Hills alum, 38, picked up a drink and snack at Hank’s Bagels amid her busy schedule.

The mother-of-one dressed for the outing dressed in rust-colored sweatpants and a white long-sleeved sweatshirt.

As she walked, her locks were pulled back in a simple updo.

After picking up her order, the fashion designer was seen sauntering over to a parked vehicle on the side of a busy street to head to her next destination.

Her outing comes shortly after she opened up about her weight loss claiming that her husband, Tim Rosenman’s concerns were “blown out of proportion” on a recent episode of her With Whit podcast.

The reality star was joined by the television producer as they both discussed her weight and health.

He explained that her original statement that he had been concerned about her weight and encouraged her to eat more had been “blown out of proportion.”

Tim explained that when he said he was “concerned” about her weight, what he really meant was that he found her “too thin” in an aesthetic sense, as he prefers her with a fuller appearance.

Whitney and her husband’s attempts to allay fans’ concerns about her weight come after she announced plans to consult a nutritionist about her weight loss.

Whitney’s husband said he preferred her with “another 10 to 15 pounds,” even though he admitted this could open him up to criticism from fans who felt he shouldn’t express any opinions about how the body his wife should look like.

“I’m not worried about your health,” he continued, adding that he knew the results of blood tests, including her triglyceride and cholesterol levels, and was therefore confident that she was in good health.

“I was concerned if you had a strained relationship with food, with the appearance of being in the public eye,” he said. However, Whitney admitted that she wasn’t a fan of how she currently looks either.

However, she blamed her “ruptured esophagus” for her drastic weight loss, saying she “never gained weight again” after being sick.

She added that she planned to see a doctor to work on her “pickiness” and make sure she was getting all the nutrients she needed.

Tim then added that it was not acceptable for total strangers to make rude comments on her social media posts, such as telling her to “eat a burger.” “You’re probably healthier than 99 percent of the population,” he said confidently.

When he later mentioned the word “worried” again, he clarified that he thought it was acceptable for someone to approach someone if they were concerned about their health.

After posting bikini photos and raising concerns about her weight in July, Whitney commented on her Instagram stories, admitting that after she “stepped on a scale,” Port realized she had to prioritize her health.

During a photo of herself with her son, she typed a lengthy statement: “I also want to do something about my weight real quick. I got a lot of comments that I looked too thin. At first it didn’t bother me.

She also brought up her husband’s opinion of her weight, writing at the time, “But Timmy brought it to my attention, as a good husband should, and said it’s not just something strangers spew out.” He’s worried about me.’

“I had to think about it and try to figure out what happened because it’s not something I consciously think about! I eat to live, not the other way around. But when I stepped on the scale, it dawned on me.’

Whitney later said she “doesn’t want to set an unhealthy example, so I’ve promised Timmy and I promise you that my health will be a priority.”

Since then, the star also opened up about the subject, vowing to “eat mindfully and build muscle” during a previous episode of her With Whit podcast.

Whitney recently enjoyed a getaway with her husband and son, Sonny, six, to Cabo and the beauty uploaded photos to Instagram capturing special moments from the trip.

She also made a statement during her vacation to emphasize once again that “everything has been blown out of proportion” on Instagram.

Port said, “Cheers to all of you who think I do “body checks!” I didn’t even know that meant until someone wrote it on one of my posts! Everything was a bit out of proportion.’

I’m a busy mom who just needs to take better care of herself and I’m working on that. I appreciate any concern about my health, of course, but it’s just a gentle reminder to refrain from making sharp remarks about someone’s weight, because Timmy is coming after you! “Jk,” she continued.

‘But really. I’m super down with constructive criticism, but be careful how harsh, baseless, or mean your words can be. That goes for EVERYONE’s posts. Not just mine. I’m on a beach vacation. In a bathing suit. Warning: Some photos and videos may show my body!’
