Whitney Port revealed that her family suffered a great loss this weekend.

The former Hills alum, 37, shared that her husband Tim Rosenman’s father, Doug, passed away Saturday in a touching collage photo tribute she posted to her Instagram stories.

“Last Saturday we lost our dear Pop Pop, Timmy’s father. Our hearts are broken,” she captioned the photos.

“He became my father after my father passed away, and I cannot describe the hole in our hearts,” she continued.

“He listened to me like no one else, felt when I needed a father/daughter conversation, loved me like his own daughter and he was sweet as sugar.”

“Sometimes people can just make you feel like you’re at home wherever you are, and that’s how he made me feel,” the reality TV star added.

Heartbroken: “He became my father after my father passed away, and I can’t begin to describe the hole in our hearts,” she added.

“He helped shape Timmy into the incredible man he is today and I will miss him forever.”

‘Doug/Pop Pop – I hope you found my father in the clouds and will watch and protect us from whoever you are. We love you endlessly,” she concluded.

Whitney lost her own father, Jeffrey Port in March 2013 from kidney cancer when he was only 62 years old.

Eight months after her father passed away, Whitney announced her engagement to Tim.

Whitney and Tim got together in 2012, two years after the end of her reality show The City, where he was one of the producers.

They eventually married in Palm Springs in 2015 and welcomed their little bundle of joy — son Sonny, now five — into the world in July 2017.

In November 2017, the reality star spoke on an episode of her YouTube series I Love My Baby But… about how the birth of her first child had exacerbated her grief over the loss of her own parent.

“He was the most important man in my life for most of my life and really ruled over it. I miss him every day,” she explained, as reported by People.

Although Whitney has tried to give Sonny a sibling, she has had three miscarriages in the past four years.

At the beginning of the year, Whitney discussed IVF, “We are considering everything at the moment, but also feel almost complete with Sonny.” “We want Sony to have a sibling, but we’re not going to sacrifice our luck to have it.”

The actor and entrepreneur rose to fame on The Hills during the series’ original run, which ran from 2006 to 2010 and was itself a spin-off of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.

Despite her long absence from reality TV, Whitney and her husband continue to shoot reaction videos for The Hills and other related shows for their YouTube channel.

The couple’s channel also features a new series called Renovation Station, in which they show their 186,000 followers the process of renovating a home into office space for Whitney’s general brand Whitney Port Inc.
