Whitney Cummings snuggles her newborn son in sweet snap after friend Tana Mongeau revealed the comedian gave birth

Whitney Cummings has shared the first glimpse of her newborn son.

The 41-year-old comedian took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the arrival of her first child, after her close friend Tana Mongeau revealed the news a day earlier.

Cummings uploaded a naked selfie with her son's small hand on her chest while wearing an open blue and green robe.

Showing her trademark silly personality, she wrote in the caption to her 1.5 million followers: “3D printed a human.” Enjoy the fact that I never brushed my hair again.'

On Saturday, Mongeau, 25, took to her Instagram Story to share a screenshot of her and the Good For You podcast host during a video call and suggest that the expectant mother had given birth.

The YouTube star wrote a caption that read, “when your mentor calls you right after birth and you have to answer.”

In the blink of an eye, Cummings – who announced her pregnancy and revealed the sex of her baby in June – was topless and holding her breast with her hands.

On the same day, Cummings also took to social media to share a video of herself 'unboxing' as she appeared in what appeared to be a hospital room.

She sat on a maternity ball and wore red-tinted sunglasses as she rifled through a plastic bag of postpartum supplies.

“Okay, if I can't open this, maybe I'm not ready to be a mom,” she joked as she struggled to open the bag.

She posted a Q&A sticker over her clip and asked her followers, “How much slime am I getting?”

However, soon after, Cummings shared a video of herself playing with her dog at home.

On Friday, she posted a photo of herself posing in the nursery while caressing her baby bump and asking her followers for childbirth advice.
