White Lotus star Lukas Gage and Kim Kardashian hairstylist Chris Appleton are ‘secretly engaged’
Lukas Gage and Chris Appleton are rumored to have been secretly engaged just days after sharing PDA in New York City.
The 27-year-old The White Lotus star and Kim Kardashian’s 39-year-old hairstylist aren’t ready to tell the public the happy news, but have told a confidant UsWeekly source Wednesday.
The insider told the publication, “They’re not telling the public yet, but they’ve told friends they’re engaged.
“They got engaged before they even had rings and went to pick them out together.”
While it seems like the two got engaged pretty quickly considering they only confirmed their romance last month, those around them are thrilled about the news.

The source explained, “Friends think they are a great couple. Even though they moved very quickly, everyone around them is very excited about their relationship.’
Last week Gage raved about his new relationship with the hairdresser for the stars, Chris Appleton, while on Today in the city of New York on Monday, March 27.
The actor addressed the speculation surrounding his relationship with Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist and confirmed that the two are dating.
He shared with the show’s hosts that he is “deeply in love” with his new beau after the pair appeared to have confirmed their relationship via several Instagram posts last month.
After receiving a comment about his “phenomenal” hair and being asked what Appleton thought, the actor joked, “I think this mane needs to be tamed.”
The You star then continued the joke by saying, “I had to be tamed too.”
Lukas then took a more serious tone to share his true feelings about his relationship with Appleton.
“I feel very lucky, very lucky and very much in love,” Lukas said as pictures of the couple appeared on screen.

He added, “He’s a handsome man. It has something to do with being in London. I think I got a taste for the British and… I couldn’t help it.’
After happily looking at some more photos of himself and the hair professional, he said, “We’re having fun together. We’re going on an adventure, and that’s for the best.’
During Today, the actor also talked about his latest role as Adam, a social climber in the fourth season of the popular Netflix show You.
‘It’s crazy. This show is totally crazy. My character is crazy. He’s full of secrets and it’s so exciting to be a part of a show that’s just so fun and crazy.”
He then revealed that he originally auditioned for the lead role of the show in the beginning as the titular character Joe, who is played by Penn Badgley.
“I auditioned for pretty much every character in every season and didn’t get it,” Lukas said with a laugh.
“Persistence pays off, guys,” said the actor, after finally being cast in the thriller’s latest season.
In February, Lukas and Chris seemed to cement their relationship after posting a slew of photos to their personal Instagram accounts while on vacation together.

They enjoyed each other’s company while vacationing in Punta de Mita, Mexico, at the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.
A series of photos showed the men riding a four-wheeler on a trail, wearing both helmets, bandanas and goggles during the outdoor excursion.
Gage captioned the post in Spanish, “la mejor” — which translates to “the best” in English — and tagged the resort in the post.
Appleton shared the same photos, captioned “Joyride” and an additional photo of both enjoying a seaside getaway while standing in the Pacific Ocean.
The hairstylist has worked with notable names such as Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Ariana Grande, and his work has appeared in publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Vanity Fair.
Lukas has movies on tap including Down Low, Road House and Parachute. He compared navigating his Hollywood career to his love life in an interview for The Hollywood Reporter earlier in February.

“I think everything is working as it should, but I haven’t always been able to see that,” he said. “I get better at it every year. The older I get, the more I realize that I have no control over anything.
‘It’s kind of like dating: when you’re looking for a partner, you never find anyone. People can feel that you are trying too hard.’
Gage said that “the best thing you can do in this industry is to build a full life alongside your work and let your work be just a part of that life.”
He added, “This is an accessory to my happiness, not the source of my happiness.”
