White House slams Tucker Carlson’s ‘sadistic’ interview with so-called historian who claimed Hitler was NOT the chief villain in WWII

The White House is slamming Tucker Carlson for interviewing a man it called “the best and most popular historian in America” who claimed that Adolf Hitler was not the main villain of World War II.
Daryl Cooper, a podcast host and self-professed historian, stirred up controversy when he said that not only did the Nazis not plan to kill millions of people, but that Winston Churchill was the biggest villain of the war.
The show sparked outrage online, particularly after X CEO Elon Musk quoted the video and tweeted, “Very interesting. Worth watching.” Musk has since deleted the post.
White House spokesman Andrew Bates sharply criticized the show’s episode.
“Giving a microphone to a Holocaust denier who spreads Nazi propaganda is a sickening and sadistic insult to all Americans, to the memory of the more than 6 million Jews who were genocided by Adolf Hitler, to the service of the millions of Americans who fought to defeat Nazism, and to all victims of anti-Semitism,” Bates said in a statement.
The White House is criticizing Tucker Carlson for his interview with Darryl Cooper, a man he called “the best and most popular historian in America,” over his claims that Adolf Hitler was not the biggest villain of World War II.
“Hitler was one of the most evil figures in human history and the ‘greatest villain’ of World War II, period. The Biden-Harris administration believes that trafficking in this moral rot is unacceptable at any time, let alone less than a year after the deadliest massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust and at a time when the cancer of anti-Semitism is growing around the world.”
In many of his statements about World War II, Cooper places blame on British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
“He didn’t kill the most people, he didn’t commit the most atrocities, but I believe… if you look into it and tell the story properly and leave nothing out, you will see that he was the primary person responsible for the development of that war,” Cooper said.
Although he did not consider Hitler the hero of World War II, he says he only made a mistake when he got Germany into trouble.a war in which they were completely unprepared to deal with the millions and millions of prisoners of war and local political prisoners.’
“They went there without a plan and just threw those people into camps, where millions of people died.” This seems to suggest that the Holocaust happened by accident.
Cooper hosts a podcast called “Martyr Made,” which saw a huge increase in listenership after his appearance with Carlson.
According to figures from the social media platform, the interview has been viewed more than 29.1 million times.
Cooper doubled down on his accusations against Churchill, posting a lengthy message on X after the controversy about the British prime minister, who is seen by many as a World War II hero.

Cooper — a podcast host and self-professed historian — stirred controversy when he said that not only did the Nazis not plan to murder millions, but that Winston Churchill, not Adolf Hitler, was the main villain of the war.
“I know this sounds like an exaggeration. Churchill did not order most of the deaths, did not oversee most of the atrocities, and did not commit the worst crimes. But most of those crimes could not have happened if the war had not happened, and Churchill was the leader most eager to make them happen,” Cooper wrote.
Cooper’s comments drew criticism from across the political spectrum, including many conservatives.
Former Congresswoman Liz Cheney wrote: “This is basically pro-Nazi propaganda, including: ‘Churchill was the biggest villain of World War II’ and Hitler ‘didn’t want to fight.’ No serious or honorable person would support or endorse this kind of nonsense.”
“This is just the same old Hitler apologetics (“He didn’t want to expand the war,” “They didn’t know what to do with all the POWs, so he put them in camps,” etc.). Remarkably, there is no historiography behind it. This “popular historian” is just making inferences. Shameful,” added Compact Magazine editor Sohrab Ahmari.
Musk has not commented on why he deleted his post.
