As speculation mounts over the content of the final series of The Crown, it seems increasingly likely that the drama will cover the early years of the Kate and William romance.
And with the courtship and engagement came some beautiful jewelry – a star in its own right.
What parts will we see when the show finally airs (the episodes will be available from November 16, with the second installment on December 14.)?
This is jewelry expert Neil Dutta Angelic diamonds has listed some of Catherine’s most notable jewels in the order in which they were given to her by Prince William.
Rose gold Victorian ring
One of William’s first gifts was a rose gold band set with birthstones: pearls for William and garnets for Catherine.
Kate received the understated Victorian LeVian band while they were students at St. Andrews, and she was photographed wearing it to her graduation ceremony in the summer of 2005.

The Princess of Wales has not been seen wearing it since announcing her engagement.
Princess Diana’s engagementent Ring
Kate’s engagement ring is a sentimental choice by Prince William, who gave his future wife the ring his late mother had worn.
It is a brilliant blue Ceylon, oval-shaped sapphire set in an 18k white gold band, surrounded by a cluster of 14 round solitaire diamonds.

The ring was originally owned by William’s late mother, Princess Diana, and cost £28,500 in 1981
Princess Diana had chosen the ring from a selection presented by the Crown Jeweler, Garrard of Mayfair, on her engagement to Prince Charles.
William proposed to Kate in Kenya in 2010 and described the ring, saying: ‘It’s my mother’s engagement ring, and it’s very special to me as Kate is now very special to me too. It was a good thing the two were brought together.
“It was my way of making sure Mom wouldn’t miss anything today, as well as the excitement and the fact that we will spend the rest of our lives together.”
Although the ring, one of the most famous in the world, is now priceless, it originally cost £28,500 in 1981. Jewelers estimate that the ring has risen in value by 23 percent every year since, meaning it is worth £330,000 today.
Engagement earrings
Prince William followed that up by presenting his bride-to-be with a stunning set of sapphire and diamond earrings.
These had also belonged to his mother: a wedding gift to Princess Diana, part of a series of jewelry donated by Crown Prince Fahd of Saudi Arabia.

The earrings feature one drop with an oval sapphire in the middle, surrounded by solitaire diamonds. These earrings have appeared several times and it is believed that they could be worth as much as £303,810 today!
After reportedly receiving these earrings from her husband to match her engagement ring, Kate later had the rings changed to a drop style.
She has worn them many times over the years.
Welsh gold wedding ring
In keeping with a royal tradition dating back almost a century, Kate’s wedding ring was crafted from a single piece of Welsh gold by Mayfair-based jeweler Wartski.
It had been Prince William visiting his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, after announcing his engagement.
This simple gold band complements her bold engagement ring – and is almost hidden by the sapphire – a personal sign of their love and commitment.

Some may remember that on his wedding day, the prince had a little problem fitting the ring on his new wife’s finger.
Worried that the ring would slip because she had lost some weight in the run-up, Kate asked the royal jeweler to reduce the size of the band, and it looked like they did their job almost too well.
Christmas earrings
To celebrate their first official Christmas together as husband and wife, William surprised Catherine with a pair of amethyst earrings.
The earrings featured 5k oval, green amethyst stones, set in 18k gold.
To celebrate their first official Christmas together in 2011, William gave Catherine a pair of amethyst earrings, costing around £2,600.
Unusually, the amethyst stones in these earrings are green instead of purple – a choice that represents harmony, love and balance.
Designed by one of Kate’s favorite designers, Kiki McDonough, this is one of the royal family’s most conservatively priced pieces, priced at around £2,600.
Catherine’s eternity ring
The third of the three rings on the princess’s wedding finger is the eternity ring.
The diamond eternity ring was a gift to Catherine after the birth of her first child, George.
The ring is made of 18k white gold, with bright, brilliant 0.23k diamonds set in the band by Annoushka. It’s often next to her wedding ring, so you’ve probably seen the jewelry.

After the birth of the couple’s first daughter, Princess Charlotte, William reportedly gave Kate a pair of green tourmaline, green amethyst and diamond earrings, worth up to £13,478.07.
The earrings are made to order and are set in 18k yellow gold, with green amethysts suspended from green tourmalines.
They are thought to be by Kiki McDonough. Kate has worn a number of other pieces from the designer in the past.
First Birthday Necklace
The gold Midnight Moon necklace features her children’s initials G, C and L and was a gift for Catherine’s 38th birthday.
The necklace was designed by British jeweler Daniella Draper, with Cathering often preferring British designers when it comes to her jewelry.
Kate Middleton paid tribute to her children when she wore a necklace with their initials during a visit to a Surrey prison in September
The Princess of Wales, 41, opted for the £1,070 gold chain engraved with ‘GCL’ for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, which she received on her 38th birthday.
The online product description reads: ‘The moon universally represents the rhythm of time and embodies the cycle. The phases of the moon symbolize immortality, eternity and enlightenment.’
This part of her collection is estimated to be worth £1,070.
