Netflix dating show phenomenon Love is blind appeared on laptops and television screens worldwide in 2020.

The show follows 15 men and women who date in specialized pods for 10 days without seeing each other once, then live together in a romantic resort for a week, but only if a proposal is made.

Then, while living together in an apartment for three weeks, the couples plan their wedding with friends and family, ultimately deciding at the altar whether to go ahead and get legally married.

It became an instant hit, Netflix was quick to capitalize and Love Is Blind now has remakes in Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Swedenthe UAE and the United Kingdom.

Now, for the Wednesday launch of Love Is Blind UKHere’s a look at all the couples from the original American series who are still together.

Season 1 – Amber and Barnett

They passed the final test during their performance on the show and decided to say ‘yes’ when they got the chance to walk down the aisle.

However, their relationship got off to a rocky start, as Matt was initially persuaded by fellow contestant Jessica Batten in the pods.

The couple also later had difficult conversations about their finances.

In an Instagram post celebrating their anniversary, Amber said, “God knows we’ve made a lot of mistakes over the years, but most importantly I’m so thankful we got it right…”

Season 1 – Cameron and Lauren

Lauren and Cameron enjoyed the instant spark in the pods and were the first to get engaged, tying the knot with Amber and Barnett.

They also celebrated their fifth anniversary in November.

When they renewed their vows in Las Vegas, Lauren said at the time, “Every day I feel myself falling more and more in love with Cam, which I didn’t even know was possible.”

The two regularly talk about their romance on social media and on their YouTube channel Hanging With The Hamiltons, where they answer questions about their relationship and give fans updates on what their lives are like now.

Season 3 – Alexa and Brennon

Despite Alexa being Jewish and Brennon being Christian, they found each other because of their shared values: they both valued family and both had a good sense of humor.

They never argued in any episode and at their wedding, Brennon promised that their love would be “everlasting.”

Alexa and Brennon had been thinking about having a baby since the beginning and in January their wish came true: the couple is expecting a girl.

But getting pregnant wasn’t easy, and Alexa revealed during the Season 6 reunion, “We weren’t sure if it would ever happen. I can’t wait to see our love become physical in a baby.”

Season 3 – Colleen and Matt

Colleen sobbed and thought the experiment was over, until she decided to give Matt Bolton a second chance.

Matt spoke about his heartbreak after his first wife cheated on him and the importance of marriage. Reed quickly fell in love and enthusiastically agreed to marry him.

Season 4 – Bliss and Zach

Bliss agreed and by the end of the evening the couple was slow dancing around the kitchen.

In episode 8, Bliss and Zack boarded a yacht and reminisced about their brief breakup, after which Zack got down on one knee and proposed to Bliss.

They married and in May their first child, daughter Galileo, was born.

Kwame seemed a little heartbroken when Micah called it quits, but decided to focus fully on Chelsea anyway.

Then Chelsea noticed the long and somewhat tense conversation between Kwame and Micah at a pool party. Chelsea and Kwame were talking and she sternly told him that she should be his top priority, not Micah.

Kwame assured Chelsea that he was confident in his decision to propose and they moved on with their lives. However, during the reunion, Kwame’s flirting came up again.

Season 4 – Brett and Tiffany

She had fallen asleep at the moment Brett declared his love for her, which made him doubt her love for him.

Fortunately, Brett was able to forgive and forget her at their next meeting, when Tiffany explained what had happened.

The couple was the first to get engaged in the fourth season.

Season 5 – Lydia and Milton

“He’s not at all what I expected,” Lydia told cameras at the time. “I’m marrying a giant!”

They were further tested by Lydia’s former relationship with Uche Okoroha. But, Milton said TODAY.comin 2023: ‘I’m not really worried about people who have had relationships with her in the past.

“In the same way that she didn’t care for anyone that I’ve dated in the past. We were there because we both wanted the chance to get married and find a partner,” he told TODAY.com.

They became even closer when Amy, born in Puerto Rico, shared that she struggled to make friends as a child and that her father once begged other children to come to her birthday party.

Their declaration of love was accidental. While we were chatting about something else, Johnny said, “I don’t want to change you at all. I love you…”

When Johnny realized what he had said, he confessed, “Amy, I really love you.” Amy laughed and then let him know that the feeling was mutual.
