Which Australian footy WAG starred in the controversial hit comedy We Can Be Heroes with Chris Lilley?
Australian comedian Chris Lilley has posted a stunning throwback video featuring a famous AFL WAG.
Before she became a successful businesswoman and the wife of Geelong star Tom Hawkins, Emma Hawkins, 35, had a burgeoning career as an actress and starred in three of Lilley’s comedy series for the ABC, including Summer Heights High.
Credited as Emma Clapham on the show, the future WAG can be seen sharing a scene with 49-year-old Lilley in his controversial series We Can Be Heroes.
Emma, who plays schoolgirl Briana in the 2005 show, appeared as the same character in Lilley’s Summer Heights High (2007) and again in Ja’mie: Private School Girl (2013).
In all three shows, Lilley starred as Ja’mie, a foul-mouthed 16-year-old schoolgirl and the centre of a friendship circle of four teenage girls, including Hawkins’ character.
Lilley’s Instagram post featured a scene where Ja’mie’s friends go to a sleepover in their pajamas and play with a Ouija board.
“Ja’mie, a private school girl, holds a séance and talks to Briana’s dead dog Chico during a sleepover with her friends,” the comedian explained in the caption.
In 2018, Emma, founder of children’s clothing brand Homegrown Kids, said she was only in year 10 when she first filmed We Can Be Heroes.

The series is a mockumentary that follows a series of five characters – all played by Lilley – who have been nominated for Australian of the Year.
“Well… I guess you could say I was a teenage actor – similar to The Olsen Twins or Hillary Duff,” Emma revealed to her Instagram followers in 2018.
‘It’s clear that we’ve all gone in very different directions with our lives.

‘I never pursued acting… Or did it not pursue me? I can’t remember the finer details (it was [definitely] the last).’
