Where to unlock all alliance raids in FFXIV

Final fantasy 14 has loads of optional content including invasions of alliances, these are large dungeons for 24 people. If you’ve recently discovered the game’s main story, you might want to work on unlocking these raids.

Notably, most of the equipment from these raids (except the last one End runner raid) is quite outdated, although a lot of it makes good glamor. You can also get things like minions, orchestrarion scrolls, and Triple Triad cards from these raids. (Not to mention that the story for each of these raid lines is good!)


FFXIV Alliance Raids and Alliance Raid Roulette, Explained

Once you have unlocked two such raids, you will unlock this one alliance raid roulette in the Duty Seeker, where you’ll be rewarded with lots of EXP and Poetics if you queue up for a randomly selected one of these raids.

Unlocking and completing alliance raids is completely optional, with the exception of the An empire reborn alliance raid series, The Crystal Tower. While previously optional, it became a mandatory part of the story in patch 5.3. However, if you have already passed the main scenario mission ‘A Time to Every Purpose’, you do not need to complete it.

That said, we mention where you can unlock everything FFXIV invasions of alliances below. We’ll indicate where to start, but as you complete the quests, keep talking to any nearby NPCs with the blue plus sign quest marker above their heads to proceed to.


Where to Unlock A Realm Reborn’s Alliance Raids, ‘The Crystal Tower’

The three raids for this series are “The Labyrinth of the Ancients,” “Sycrus Tower,” And “The world of darkness.”

To start this attack, you must have completed the main scenario mission ‘The Ultimate Weapon’ and then talk to the NPC named Strange man in Mor Dhona at the location below to start the side mission “Legacy of Allag”:

The missions that actually unlock the tasks in the questline share the name as their respective Alliance raid. (So ​​the search “Labyrinth of the Ancients‘unlocks the attack of the same name.)


Where to unlock Heavensward’s alliance raids, ‘Shadow of Mhach’

The tree Heavenward alliance raids are “The empty ark,” “The crying city of Mhach,” And “Dun Scaith.”

To unlock these raids, you must have completed the main scenario mission ‘Heavensward’. You can start the sidequest “Sky Pirates” from the NPC Troubled Trader in the Pillars (Ishgard) at the location below:

Where to Unlock Stormblood’s Alliance Attacks, ‘Return to Ivalice’

The tree Stormblood alliance raids are “The royal city of Rabanastre,” “The Ridorana Lighthouse,” And “The Orbonne Monastery.”

You must complete the MSQ “Stormblood” to start this questline. It starts with the NPC Bouldering in Kugane with the quest “Dramatis Personae” at the location below:

Where to unlock Shadowbringer’s alliance raids, ‘YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse’

The Shadowbringers alliance raids are a crossover with the Nier series. You will see familiar faces like 2B and 9S in the three raids,”The copied factory,” “The doll bunker,” And “The tower at the paradigm break.”

You must complete the MSQ “Shadowbringers” to fully unlock these raids. Talk to the Gossipy dwarf in Kholusia at the location below to start ‘Word about Komra’.

Where to Unlock Endwalker’s Alliance Raids, ‘Myths of the Realm’

The End runner alliance raids are “Aglaia,” “Euphrosyne,” And “Thaeleia.”

To start this quest line, you must complete the MSQ ‘A Brother’s Grief’. Once you do this, you can start using the Student with a new face in old Sharlayan to start the quest ‘A Mission in Mor Dhona’.
