While the RTX 4080 may actually be sold out online in the US, don’t forget that there are still a ton of Black Friday graphics card deals available on Nvidia Ampere cards, so if you can’t find the RTX 4080, look for it on you can still find some powerful RTX 3080, RTX 3080 Ti, and even RTX 3090 cards for less than the RTX 4080.
While these aren’t quite as powerful as the RTX 4080, they’re still some of the best graphics cards on the market and will be more than enough to power fantastic 4K gaming for many years to come.
In the US, most major retailers are now sold out, which has taken much longer than we originally anticipated. But if you’re out of options and really want an RTX 4080-powered system, ready-made PCs are also available if you’re willing to spend the extra cash.
Right now you can get this iBUYPOWER SlateMono Gaming PC for $2,799.99 at Newegg. It comes with an Intel Core i9-13900KF, Nvidia RTX 4080, 32GB DDR5, 1TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB HDD.
After scouring the internet, it seems that the online US supply of RTX 4080 graphics cards is running low. The UK is doing a bit better, with eBuyer, Box and CCL all still in limited stock at this point.
CCL also still has RTX 4080 stock, so UK buyers especially have a few options if they’re looking for a new graphics card.
Box still has some RTX 4080 stock for UK buyers, though the US stock looks very, very thin.
The stock is now getting thinner as the day progresses. JustGPU is completely sold out, which means that Newegg itself is sold out. Amazon has no US listings for the RTX 4080, though Amazon.co.uk has the PALIT GameRock Midnight Kaleidoscope GeForce RTX 4080 for £1,549.99.
Buyers in the UK can now also find stock at Novatech UK, which has a good stock left.
UK buyers are in luck, as eBuyer now has RTX 4080 stock available (while it lasts).
JustGPU, Newegg’s graphics card store, also has a few more RTX 4080s in stock.
I’m not too surprised that the three models of RTX 4080 still in stock at Box are the rather ugly-looking Palit GameRock OmniBlack models. But as long as they play well, who cares what they look like?

CCL also stocks the following bundle:
This bundle contains the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 GAMING X TRIO 16GB Graphics Card and MSI MPG A850GF 850W 80 PLUS Gold PSU for £1,546. That’s a decent amount, especially since many people who upgrade to the RTX 4080 may also need a new PSU to power the card, so this could save you some money.

Back to the US, and right now Micro Center seems to only have RTX 4080 stock up its sleeve, rather than being available online, so it’s worth checking if there’s a store near you with stock. This was a handy way to get an RTX 4090 when other online retailers sold out.

It’s quite a bit bigger than the RTX 3080 and about the same size as the RTX 3090 and 3090 Ti, so make sure your PC has enough space to install this three-slot GPU.

On a side note, I know physical looks aren’t everything when it comes to GPUs, but the Palit GameRock Midnight Kaleidoscope GeForce RTX 4080 (opens in new tab) seems pretty fake to me. Maybe it’s prettier in real life, but the photos of it on the Box website make it look a little cheap – which at £1,399.99 it certainly isn’t.
In the UK, retailer Box looks like it has a good selection of RTX 4080 models (opens in new tab) choose from.
They vary in price, with the Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 (opens in new tab), Palit GameRock Midnight Kaleidoscope GeForce RTX 4080 (opens in new tab)and Palit GameRock OmniBlack GeForce RTX 4080 (opens in new tab) be the cheapest. They go on sale at 2pm GMT for £1,399.99.
So when I say “cheapest” I mean they’re still going to be pretty damn expensive.
The Nvidia website is a good way to check stock levels of various RTX 4080 flavors. So not only the standard Founders Edition from Nvidia, but also variants made by the likes of PNY, Asus, MSI and more.
You also get prices and ideas where to buy the RTX 4080s. Both Nvidia British RTX 4080 (opens in new tab) and Nvidia US RTX 4080 webpages are now live.
These are definitely worth keeping open.
Some retailers have also made it so that only people on a waiting list can purchase the GPUs.
For example, B&H has made its RTX 4080 stock ‘Waiting List Only’ (opens in new tab). This means that only people who have signed up for stock alerts can purchase one.
The good news is that it’s free and easy to do – click the ‘Notify me when available’ button and add your details to get on the waiting list.
One of the best things you can do while waiting for the RTX 4080 to go on sale is prepare before stock releases. To prepare, leave the store pages open at the top of this page. You may find in the rush to buy an RTX 4080 that the websites crash and won’t let you in, so it’s essential that they’re open and ready to go ahead of time.
The price means it’s not far off the RTX 4090 in terms of price. So if you’re spending that much money anyway, should you skip the RTX 4080 and go for the RTX 4090 instead?
While that’s what I’d recommend to many enthusiasts, there’s a problem: the RTX 4090 remains extremely hard to buy. Without stocking the RTX 4090, the RTX 4080 will be (at least for a few hours today) the best GPU you can buy right now.
However, we do expect the RTX 4080 to sell out quickly, so you’ll need to be quick.

Honestly, it was a tough GPU to rate. While it’s undoubtedly one of the best graphics cards out right now and performs amazingly in games (instead of the mighty RTX 3090 Ti), it’s also incredibly expensive. Retailing for around $1,299 / £1,269 for the Founders Edition, it’s quite a bit more expensive than the RTX 3080.
The day is here! The Nvidia RTX 4080 is now on sale! The good news is that while it’s selling out quickly, stock is still available from select retailers in the US and UK.
