Where are the Saturday Night Takeaway presenters now and how many do YOU remember?

Ant and Dec present a twentieth series of Saturday Night Takeaway tonight, as the popular program returns to ITV screens.

The popular variety show, which first premiered in June 2002.

It has featured some familiar faces and memorable moments as a staple of Saturday night entertainment for more than 20 years.

But where are the other presenters and guest stars who appeared on Saturday Night Takeaway and how many do you remember?

Where are the Saturday Night Takeaway presenters now?

Kirsty Gallacher

Kirsty Gallacher has had a long career in broadcasting and presenting after breaking through on Sky Sports News in 1998.

After hosting a number of other sports shows – including on BBC Radio 5 Live – Kirsty presented 26 episodes on Saturday Night Takeaway between 2004 and 2009.

After finishing 11th with professional dancer Brendan Cole in the 2015 series of Strictly Come Dancing, she was due to present a breakfast show for GB News following the channel’s launch in 2021.

However, in November she was forced to leave the show after a benign ear tumor caused her ‘severe tinnitus’ and left her unable to work.

In January 2024, she appeared on an episode of Beat The Chasers, but was eliminated after just one question.

The Smooth Radio host was asked: ‘What would a company do that exaggerates its environmental performance for marketing purposes?’

She replied “catfishing,” as the studio audience responded by gasping in shock. Kirsty was shocked to discover that the correct answer was in fact greenwashing.

Ashley Roberts

Ashley, a former member of The Pussycat Dolls, started presenting after the group split in 2010.

Her appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway was her first on-air appearance and saw her run for 25 episodes, with her last appearance on the show coming in 2021.

Since 2022, she has hosted the Netflix show Dance Monsters, in which amateur dancers disguised as CGI avatars compete to win $250,000.

She also presented the Heart 00 show on Heart Radio.

Scarlett Moffatt

Before Scarlett enjoyed a glittering TV career, she worked at her local Asda supermarket as a cashier at the till.

However, her life would change forever after she chose to sign up for the third series of Gogglebox in March 2014, when she became a fan favorite on the show.

Her stint on the Channel 4 show then saw her take part in the 16th series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016.

Moffatt had to fend off competition from the likes of former EastEnders actor Larry Lamb, Emmerdale star Adam Thomas and comedian Joel Dommett to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.

It was after her victory down under that Scarlett tried her hand at presenting for the first time, as host of the reality dating Streetmate in 2017.

She then presented 15 episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway with fellow Geordies Ant and Dec between 2017 and 2020.

Scarlett also hosted Love Bites and regularly appears as a guest presenter on Lorraine and Loose Women.

In June 2023, Scarlett welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Jude, with boyfriend Scott Dobinson – four months after confirming her pregnancy.

The former Gogglebox star announced the news in a sweet Instagram post after their son arrived five weeks earlier than planned.

Fleur East

After appearing on the second series of The X Factor in 2005 as part of girl group Addictiv Ladies, Fleur enjoyed a successful solo career before returning to the show in 2014.

She became the first entrant to achieve a single reach on the UK iTunes Store chart after her cover of Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk – which she performed for the semi-final – went live weeks ahead of schedule.

The singer presented 26 episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway between 2016 and 2023.

In January 2024, Fleur announced that she was expecting the birth of her child with husband, French celebrity fashion designer Marcel Badiane-Robin.

Announcing the news, she shared a stunning photo on Instagram with the sweet caption: “2024 will be different.”

Fleur and Marcel have been together since 2010 and first met in a bar in 2009 when he was working as a waiter, although she was dating someone else at the time.

They reconnected a year later and started dating before tying the knot in 2019.

Stephen Mulhern

Presenting the ‘Ant vs Dec’ and ‘In for a Penny’ segments, Stephen Mulhern has been a familiar face on Saturday Night Takeaway since he first appeared on the show in 2016.

The latter of the two segments was made into a game show of the same name in 2019, in which Stephen explores the streets of various British cities to find people to complete various challenges.

The challenges include filling cars with an exact amount of fuel and guessing the prices of items on a conveyor belt.

Each show ends with the final game ‘In for a Penny, In for a Grand’, where people complete comedy challenges to win £1,000.

In December 2023, Mulhern was announced as the permanent co-host of Dancing On Ice alongside Holly Willoughby following Phillip Schofield’s resignation from ITV in May that year.

Andi Peters

Andi Peters has presented several programs since being chosen to broadcast The Broom Cupboard on CBBC in 1989 and is one of the more experienced names on Saturday Night Takeaway’s list of guest presenters.

In addition to his better-known work – including hosting competitions on Good Morning Britain and Saturday Night Takeaway – Peters had a little-known role in Toy Story 2 as the voice of Male Baggage Handler #1.

When Andi appeared in a Saturday Night Takeaway segment last year, he drove viewers wild with his ripped, muscular physique.

The 52-year-old appeared on the show in a pre-recorded segment from Florida, where he showed off his bulging muscles in a sleeveless vest.

Andy looked incredible with his muscular shoulders and rippling biceps as he unveiled ITV’s latest bout, with one fan declaring he looked ‘ready to fight (boxer) Tyson Fury’.

Jordan North

Jordan began his presenting career while studying at the University of Sunderland, where he performed on local radio station Spark FM.

His breakthrough came at the BBC in 2014, when he was appointed drive-time presenter for the broadcaster’s Lancashire branch.

On Wednesday he appeared on the Capital Breakfast show, where outgoing presenter Roman Kemp confirmed Jordan would be his replacement.

He would join Ant and Dec on Saturday Night Takeaway in 2022, appearing during the ‘Happiest Minute Of The Week’ segment and has made 15 episodes to date.

The 34-year-old made a shock announcement last week, revealing he would be quitting BBC Radio 1’s Going Home Show.

From March 4, his slot will be taken over by Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, who has made a name for himself outside the show as a keen podcaster.

Radio 1 says goodbye to Jordan, who has been on Radio 1 for ten years with his first major show being Radio 1’s Greatest Hits on Sundays.

Emilia Vos

The Mail On Sunday revealed in 2021 that Ms Fox, 49, was dating the wealthy television executive who owns a production company called Knickerbockerglory.

The pair met when Mr Stadlen, who is divorced, joined Ms Fox on a podcast about crime during the pandemic.
