Where Rachel Reeves can get help on the economy | Short letters

Rachel Reeves claims she doesn’t see people putting forward alternatives to her measures to manage the economy (report, December 20). She should read the letters section in the Guardian. If I were Prime Minister, this would be the first thing I would read every morning.

Well done, Zoe Williams, for sticking with a familiar way to get around (Can I Survive 24 Hours Without GPS Navigation?, December 21). I’m using an old AZ and didn’t realize that the new ones no longer provide usable street details. But it’s no problem to get lost; Getting lost is a good opportunity for the hippocampus to get to work.

Sad to hear of Eddie Stobart’s death (Obituary, December 18). Am I the only father whose children have been kept quiet on long journeys by comparing the number of Stobbies they saw to Norbert Dentressangle’s Nobbies?
