Where on the Moon is Archie in Destiny 2?
Archie returns to Lot 2 with a trip to the Moon after the weekly reset of May 14, 2024.
This is the last in a series of “Where in the system is Archie” missions in the wake of the Into the Light update — which are being distributed week after week leading up to The final shape.
Please note: This quest will expire on the weekly reset of May 21 and will be replaced by another Archie mission in a new location. Remember, provided you complete it each Archie quest before the arrival of The final shapeyou will get your hands on the Blue Steel shader, while the lore for all Archie missions will be available from June 4.
How to Start ‘Where on the Moon is Archie?’ in Fate 2
To start the latest ‘Where’s Archie’ mission, go to the tower outbuilding and look for the paw prints. For future reference, here’s the start of each Archie mission each week.
You can reach this location by using the fastest travel point in the southwest and then continuing straight into the corridor. The paw prints will appear on the edge to your right.
Examine the prints and talk to Ada-1 (found in the attachment opposite) to start the latest quest.
Now head to the moon and speak to seller Eris Morn at their usual spot in Sanctuary, all the way south of the destination. Once done, the quest begins.
All Archie Moon locations
Here you can find Archie on the moon, clue by clue.
“Archie hoped to use the accelerator to send supplies to his friends through the system. Too bad the location is broken
The first clue takes you to Archer’s Line, the area just west of Eris Morn and Sanctuary.
If you’re coming from the south, you’ll see some paw prints on the path. Go a little further north and you will see an orange platform on the right.
On this platform you will find the complete set of paw prints.
Examine these to get the next clue.
“Archie wanted to see the temple where the Guardians had the famous ‘woke the Hive’ location
This clue refers to the Temple of Crota, an area named not on the map. To get there, go to Archor of Light and exit the path to the east.
You’ll know you’re in the right place when ‘Temple of Crota’ appears on the screen
Fight your way through the entrance and enter the temple.
Once inside, stay on the top floor and on the other side are the paw prints you are looking for.
Then it’s time to visit the Hellmouth.
‘Archie heard about a place where Guardians took a leap to defeat a Hive prince. Then some witches began to perform a ritual location
This clue refers to the Hellmouth, a location in the center of the moon.
Specifically, you want to go to this arch at the edge of the Hellmouth opening, located on the west side. (See the map screenshot above for the exact location.)
The paw prints can be seen not far from the arch.
Examine them to get the final clue.
“Archie’s last stop. He decided to ignore Eris’ warnings and find out what was so special about the location of a moon pyramid
This last location will be familiar to those who visit the Shadow Guard expansion.
Head to Sorrow’s Harbor – the area to the northeast of the destination – and exit the northeast passage, where you’ll be flanked by red walls and a tower looms in the distance. (See the map screenshot above for the exact location.)
At the end, take the doorway on the left and follow the route through the Enduring Abyss and its dark cavern, until you emerge with a view of Earth on the horizon. (The path here is linear, so you won’t take any wrong turns.)
Continue until you reach the Pyramid ship. A single paw print on the ground indicates that you are going in the right direction.
We are almost there. Descend to the path below and continue until you reach a series of rock outcrops. Archie will be on the middle one.
Communicate with Archie and visit Ada again in the Tower to complete the quest.
In addition to 10 Trophy of Bravery (useful for getting more Brave weapons), you also receive ‘A Cool Rock’. Whether you stick with it is up to you. Archie will be sad if you don’t!
Remember, a new “where’s Archie” mission will appear next week after the weekly reset. Until then, if you’re looking for more to do in the Into the Light update, you can take on Pantheon bosses, complete ‘Zero Hour’ and find Oracle locations for ‘The Whisper’ and upgrade Whisper of the Worm taken with Blights.
