Kim Kardashian was the talk of the town at the 2024 Met Gala in New York on Monday, wearing a tiny corset dress from Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano.

After walking the red carpet with her ex-husband Kanye West, 46, for the past few years, it may seem strange that the rapper hasn’t been present since their divorce, albeit with his lookalike fashion muse Bianca Censori, 29 .

But Kanye hasn’t been invited since 2022, when he was Met Gala director Anna Wintour vowed never to work with him again after his anti-Semitic rants.

And even before that, he was a regular skipper for Met Gal – his last appearance was actually in 2019.

So instead, he and Bianca spent their Monday more than 2,000 miles away moving from their LA mansion.

Kim and Kanye’s last appearance at the Met Gala was in 2019, when she stunned in a gold wet look and Kanye wore a $42 black jacket.

Met Gala 2022 was canceled due to Covid and in 2021, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye, citing irreconcilable differences.

However, she still brought a piece of him to that year’s Met Gala, completely concealing her body — including her face — in a black skin-tight suit designed by Balenciaga, Ye’s frequent collaborator.

Kim’s first appearance at the Met Gala took place in 2013 when she was heavily pregnant with first child North and was only invited as Kanye’s plus one.

The couple attended again in 2014, just days before their luxurious Italian wedding, with Kim wearing a beautiful midnight blue dress.

In 2015, Kim wore a beautiful semi-sheer white Roberto Cavalli dress with a long, feathered white train, and Kanye wore an all-black suit.

Kim and Kanye’s penultimate Met Gala in 2016 saw them matching in metallic silver, with Kanye wearing a particularly striking, dazzling jacket.

In 2017, Kim went solo and in a very simple off-the-shoulder white Vivienne Westwood dress.

She stunned in a gold figure-hugging Christian Dior dress adorned with crosses for her 2018 look.

Kim’s appearance at the Monday Met Gala comes after she was mercilessly booed by the crowd when she attended the Tom Brady Roast on Sunday.

The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest, was streamed live.

Netflix was touted as the first ever roast to be broadcast live and unedited and was held at LA’s Kia Forum in Inglewood.

While the Los Angeles native wasn’t on stage as a coffee roaster, she was brought up for a special toast for the 46-year-old NFL quarterback legend.

She walked onto the stage with a glass of champagne when she was met by a chorus of boos from the Forum audience.

The reality star and mogul seemed unbothered by the boos as she left the event in a stylish black leather dress.

The Los Angeles native was immediately jeered when she walked on stage and paused after thanking host Kevin Hart.

She told Kevin, 44, “I know a lot of people make fun of your height,” before appearing to double down on her outburst at the crowd’s outburst.

Kim, who sported blonde locks as she held a champagne flute at the Southern California event, tried to get the show back on track by saying, “Okay, okay, okay.”

Kevin himself appeared to step in to limit the damage as he said, “Whoa, whoa.”

In the rest of her set, Kim alluded to past rumors of a romance with Tom after they crossed paths at a Fourth of July party in the Hamptons last summer.

“I’m really here for Tom tonight,” said Kim, who has previously dated NFL players including Reggie Bush and Miles Austin. “I wasn’t planning on coming tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I will.”

She joked about her 2007 sex tape with Ray-J: “I know there were rumors that that was the case, and I would never say whether we did or not – I would just put out a tape.”
