Compared to previous seasonal skins such as Solid Snake, Geralt of Rivia, and Wolverine, Godzilla’s intimidating frame is not. rather transpose to a vaguely humanoid frame. But the character’s characteristic roughness (Fortnite‘s Godzilla is based on the Godzilla x Kong iteration) will appear both as a skin and on the map at some point in Chapter 6 Season 1.

Release date of the Godzilla skin in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1
The Godzilla skin is created Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 onwards Friday January 17, 2025.
As with other midseason Battle Pass skins, once the skin becomes available you’ll need to complete a series of challenges to unlock it. (Although not yet confirmed, if previous seasonal skins are anything to go by, you can unlock additional cosmetics for Godzilla by completing additional challenges.)
Where is Godzilla in Fortnite Chapter 6?
At the launch, Godzilla is nowhere on the Fortnite island in Chapter 6 Season 1. But the season trailer shows the King of Monsters wandering and roaring across the map. Unlike the seasonal skin, this version of Godzilla is normally proportioned – and, appropriately, taller than a skyscraper.
Presumably, Godzilla will appear on the island in a mid-season update (possibly on or around the release of the Godzilla skin, as dated above). We will update this guide as soon as we have more information. In the meantime, you might want to visit the giant tortoise.
