Where can you find Archie in Destiny 2?
Where is Archie in Lot 2? Yes, the beloved robot dog added during Season of the Seraph is missing as part of the April 2024 Into the Light update.
As part of the various “Where in the system is Archie‘quests – which are distributed week after week in the lead-up The final shape – you have to chase him in different locations Lot 2s world.
In this Lot 2 guide, I’ll help you find Archie so you can claim some Trophy of Bravery tokens, the Blue Steel shader, and the “Where in the System is Archie” Triumph.
Remark: At the time of writing, Archie has only appeared in The Tower and, most recently as part of the April 30 weekly reset, The Cosmodrome. We’ll continue to update this guide every week to help you find Archie wherever he appears.
How do you start the ‘Where in the system is Archie?’ window. quest in Destiny 2 every week
To start the Archie mission, you must first visit him in the Appendixwhich is down the stairs from the Tower Bazaar. You must do this every week to begin the next part of the quest.
Normally you can find Archie outside on a blanket old Black Armory area, where Ada-1 hangs out. But if you try to visit him, you will notice that he is gone and there are green paw prints leading to Ada.
Examine the prints and go talk to Ada-1.
“Where in the tower is Archie?” locations in destiny 2
After looking at the paw prints, Ada-1 will show you the “Where in the tower is Archie?” scavenger hunt. Accept it and prepare for a treasure hunt.
“Archie heard about something called ramen…”
Your first clue is what Archie is looking for Windows. Luckily there is a ramen shop nearby.
Leave Ada’s rooms and turn around left. Go up the stairs to the Bazaar. Opposite where Ikora is standing you’ll see a Fallen hanging around some stools. Behind the counter of the nearby store you’ll find Archie’s first set of footprints.
Investigate them to progress in the quest.
‘Archie wanted to pay his respects to a famous marksman’
The next prompt explains that Archie wants to pay his respects to a “famous marksman,” ie Cayde-6the former Hunter Vanguard killed during the To leave expansion.
Go to the main part of The Tower and walk towards it Zavala and the Ironwood tree. To the left of the tree is a small one bust of Cayde sitting on a pillar.
Walk up to it and you will see Archie’s footprints. Communicate with them to further the search.
‘Archie took off past security checkpoints to say hello to a feathered friend’
Then you hear that Archie went to visit a feathered friend. This prompt is talking about Colonel – Cayde-6’s chicken companion – which you can find in the Hangar.
From The Tower’s main landing zone, head left and down to the Hangar. As soon as you enter, go right and you see a partially built ship and some fallen people standing there. You’ll see Archie’s green footprints next to a small screen and a chicken.
This is where Cayde-6 used to be in the tower. Interact with Archie’s footprints to continue the search.
“Archie’s last stop. He walked into an open air duct in the Hangar…’
For the final part of this quest, the prompt will tell you to follow Archie through a mysterious air duct in the Tower Hangar. If you were around during the old Leviathan’s Breath mission, you know exactly where to go. If not, keep scrolling.
From your visit to Cayde’s chicken, Take the stairs that lead to the upper part of the hangar. Go to the at the top of the Future War Cult (FWC) room and look at the stairs leading back to Zavala and company. You will see a small landing and a path. Follow the arrow in the image above and jump to this new area.
Once you land, follow the path to a room with a holographic table and then through a doorway that leads to a small vent. Climb into the vent and exit on the other side.
You are now in the security control room. Right in front of you, you will see it Archie.
Approach him and ‘offer Pawsitive Reinforcement’ to continue the quest.
When you’re done, return to Ada-1 in the Annex. She gives you 10 Trophy of Bravery tokens (useful for getting Brave weapons) and an expired Raman coupon, which doesn’t do anything but is a cute little token to remember the quest with.
Since this is the first leg of this quest, you’ll also earn the “Where in the System is Archie” triumph, which grants you the Blue Steel shader.
“Where in the Cosmodrome is Archie?” locations in destiny 2
To start the search for Archie for the second week, you must find his missing paw prints The tower as always. From there, Ada-1 sends you down Shaw Han in the Cosmodrome. Talk to the New Light vendor and he’ll send you off to find Archie again.
“Archie heard rumors about ‘cave full of loot'”
For the first step of the quest, teleport yourself to Heaven Watch.
When you arrive, head to the public event area, new: the giant Hive pod. You will see a cave carved into the rock – the infamous one Loot cavewhich you will definitely remember if you have one Lot 1 veteran.
Archie’s footprints are just inside the cave opening, so go inside and examine them.
“Archie wanted to explore the complex where we stopped the Hive…”
For this next step, you really have to go back and remember the original Destination.
From Skywatch, travel through the ancient buildings to the Terrestrial complex – like going backwards through The Disgraced Strike. Eventually you’ll go to an open area where you’ll find a large antenna. From there, turn right and enter the driveway.
At the end of the ramp you will encounter some Fallen crowding around a small group of people computers. Defeat the enemies and then examine Archie’s footprints in front of the terminal.
“Archie heard about a place where newly risen Guardians sneak past danger…”
From Skywatch and the Terminal Complex, go to the Forgotten coast.
Once you arrive at the Forgotten Shore, move on southeast until you find a small trail – one you should be familiar with if you’ve ever done it Dropped SABER attack. Keep going and keep left. Eventually you take a lower path and find yourself in front of an old one Warmindbunker – the same one you enter in the Strike.
When you arrive, you’ll be ambushed by some Fallen. Defeat them and then examine Archie’s paw prints, which are near the bunker doors.
“Archie’s last stop. He wanted to find a ship of his own to take back to the Last City.”
The final step involves a fairly simple ‘boss fight’, so prepare for that. Once you’re done, teleport back to Shaw Han.
From Shaw, enter the complex he’s staring at and head towards it Dock 13. You can’t miss it because it’s on the way to The Divide.
When you reach Dock 13, a Brig and a few other Fallen enemies will appear, including a boss Reaver. Take out the non-boss Fallen as quickly as possible and then take on the Reaver. Once you’ve done enough damage – which doesn’t actually take much – the Reaver gains an immunity shield and disappears.
When the Reaver disappears, so does little Archie’s shield. Go over to him – he’s in the corner of the room – and give him some pets. Then you can return to Ada-1 to collect your Trophy of Bravery tokens and Archie’s latest gift: a Spinfoil hat.
Stay tuned for more Archie locations after the May 7 weekly reset. Until then, if you’re looking for more to do in the Into the Light update, you can complete ‘The Whisper’, find Oracle locations, and upgrade Whisper of the Worm with Taken Blights.
