When will Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 be released?

Honkai: Star Rail‘s version 2.1 patch is coming soon and brings new characters and story. For those looking forward to heading to Acheron or exploring more of Penacony’s story, you’ll want to know the exact time the game launches so you can jump right in.

What time is Honkai: Star Rail offline for maintenance?

Honkai: Star Rail goes offline for maintenance March 26 or 27 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:

  • March 26 at 3pm PDT off the west coast of North America
  • March 26 at 6pm EDT off the east coast of North America
  • March 26 at 10pm GMT for Great Britain
  • March 26 at 11:00 PM CET for Western Europe/Paris
  • March 27 at 7am JST for Japan/Tokyo
  • March 27 at 9am AEDT for Australia/Sydney

Be sure to burn your fuel before maintenance begins, if you wish.


What time does Honkai: Star Rail version 2.1 start?

Honkai: Star Rail must return from maintenance with version 2.1 at the following times:

  • March 26 at 8pm PDT off the west coast of North America
  • March 26 at 11pm EDT off the east coast of North America
  • March 27 at 3am GMT for Great Britain
  • March 27 at 4am CET for Western Europe/Paris
  • March 27 at 12:00 JST for Japan/Tokyo
  • March 27 at 2pm AEDT for Australia/Sydney

The servers may become available sooner or later depending on how maintenance goes, but these are approximate times when 2.1 should go live. Normally Hooverse is quite good at adhering to maintenance times. Normally we don’t get extensive maintenance, but sometimes it ends prematurely!


What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.1?

Version 2.1 brings in the characters Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher for play, although Aventurine won’t be available until a little later in the patch.

In addition to these characters, we delve more into the mysterious story of Penacony and discover what is going on in this so-called wonderland. Simulated Universe also gets a ninth world, with more spheres and connecting ropes to make your characters stronger.

There are also several events taking place during the patch, including ‘Cosmodyssey’ (a board game), ‘Vignettes in a Cup’ (a bartending game) and ‘Tides of War’ (a combat challenge).
