When will Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga be released on Max?
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga doesn’t have an official streaming release date yet, but based on other recent feature films from Warner Bros. we can speculate about when this might be possible.
Let’s start with Barbie, which was released on Max almost five months after its theatrical debut. The fantasy comedy-drama starring Margot Robbie landed in theaters on July 21, but didn’t land on the superstreamer until December 15. That decision was probably due to its huge box office success – Barbie earned a whopping $1.45 billion worldwide – while Warner wanted to make as much money as possible from ticket sales.
However, other Warner Bros. films entered Max’s back catalog much earlier. Aquaman 2 made waves on Max just two months after its release on December 22nd (February 27th to be exact). Wonka didn’t bother to do the same either, as it landed on Max on March 8, almost three months after arriving in theaters. Most recent, Dune part 2 spiced up the service on May 21, about ten weeks after its critically acclaimed run on the big screen.
So, when could Furiosa make his Max bow? Based on the above, the film will likely be released ten to twelve weeks after its theatrical debut on May 24, which means the earliest the film can hit Max (and be included on our list of the best Max films) is early August. New Max movies, especially the most recent theatrical releases from Warner Bros, also normally debut on Wednesdays, so our most logical guess would be August 2 or 9.
Where can I stream Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga in the UK?
We don’t know when or where Furiosa will still be available at home in the UK. Normally we’d expect it to make its way to Sky and Now TV, as this pair is home to several Warner Bros. films and HBO TV shows, including Zack Snyder’s Justice League And House of the Dragon.
However, the preferences of Aquaman 2, WonkaAnd Dune part 2 are only available for rent and/or purchase via digital stores. Unlike Max, Sky and Now TV are unlikely to be its home base Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga when it makes its way to British shores. Okay, Barbie is currently available to watch on Sky and Now TV, but that’s unfortunately the exception to the rule.
That said, we wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case Furiosa is only available to rent and/or buy from stores owned by Amazon, Apple, Microsoft and YouTube when it flexes its UK streaming. And with Max not making his UK debut until 2026 at the earliest, that will remain the case for another 18 months.

However, there are examples of Warner Bros. films making their way to select streamers in Australia, such as The hitter (now available on Foxtel), Justice League (Binge/Foxtel), and The flash (Netflix/Binge/Foxtel). There is a chance that that is the case Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga may end up on any of these platforms. Until we hear otherwise, we can’t confirm whether this will be the case.
