The miracles has finally hit theaters – and fans are already asking one big question: When will the superhero movie make its Disney Plus debut?
It’s a burning question that needs to be answered, especially if you’re not concerned about seeing it The miracles – one of the last big new films of 2023 – in cinemas. The third and final Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film of the year hasn’t been universally well received so far, with its critical Rotten tomatoes score is a mixed 60%. So we wouldn’t blame you if you decide to wait for the official streaming release.
So, when will The miracles take a flight with Disney Plus? The short answer is: we don’t know. The film only arrived in theaters worldwide on November 10, so it will be a while before Marvel’s latest film makes the jump from the big screen to the small.
However, that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate on when it will launch on Disney’s primary streaming service. We bet you’re curious when we think it will land on Disney Plus, so read on to find out more.
When will The Marvels appear on Disney Plus?
As we mentioned above, we’re not sure when the latest Marvel Phase 5 movie will be available to stream. However, we believe The miracles will eventually join the platform in February 2024 – and there are indications that we are on the right track.
To take Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, For example. This MCU Phase 4 film debuted in theaters in November 2022 and only arrived on Disney Plus in February of this year. This means that there was a period of three months in between Black Panther 2‘s release in theaters and will make its way to our new Disney Plus movie list in early 2023.
More recent Marvel films also followed that three-month release pattern. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was released in theaters in February 2023, before shrinking on Disney Plus in May. In the meantime, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 made a cosmic detour to the streaming giant in August – three months after its original theatrical release in May.

If The miracles continues that trend, you’ll be able to watch it on one of the world’s top streaming services in February next year.
That said, Marvel could throw us a release date curve ball, especially if The miracles fails to ignite the box office. Per Varietythe film is on track to earn between $60 and $65 million in its US opening weekend, which would make it the lowest-grossing MCU film since 2015. Antmanand would be a disastrous start for a film that reportedly cost a whopping $270 million to make (via Forbes).
There will soon be many other big hits that will compete for the audience’s attention at the box office. The hunger Games prequel film, Disney’s latest animated film Wishand Ridley Scott’s historical epic Napoleonstarring Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix, will be released on November 22. The miraclesSo it really needs a solid start to ticket sales, or it will struggle to recoup costs if viewers choose to spend their hard-earned money elsewhere.
Should The miracles crash and burn, it might be in Disney’s best interest to pull it from theaters and add it to Disney Plus’ movie library. That being said, Doctor Strange 2 earned $955 million worldwide and launched on the streamer just six weeks after its big-screen debut, so box office success isn’t always a primary factor in determining a film’s arrival on Disney Plus.
Still, we stick to our February 2024 launch forecast The miracles. If we’re right: fine. If not, it doesn’t matter. We’ll be happy to see it join its Marvel brethren on Disney’s main streaming service, even if we don’t think it’ll be a high-ranking entry in our best Marvel movie guide.
