The Europa League quarter-final draw will be made up of the eight teams that prevailed in the round of 16.
Teams from the same country can, at this stage, now play each other, as long as there are no longer seeded teams. It means Man United could be drawn with Arsenal if the Gunners join them in the quarter-final.
The draw for the Europa League semi-finals will also take place as the path to the final becomes clear.
Meanwhile, those who competed together in the group stage may also meet in the quarterfinals.
The draw for the semi-finals will also take place on March 17, meaning those who have made it to the quarter-finals will also know their potential route to the final.
There will also be a draw to determine the ‘home’ team for the final, although that is purely administrative.
