The winner of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award will be announced tonight.
Beth Mead was crowned BBC Sports Personality of the Year last year after a sensational campaign for club and country.
After being declared the winner, she joined Bobby Moore as one of only six footballers to win SPOTY and the first since Ryan Giggs in 2009. The other legends on the list are Paul Gascoigne (1990), Michael Owen (1998) and David Beckham (2001).
Mead led England to victory at Euro 2022, with the Lionesses beating Germany 2-1 in the final.
Mary Earps is in line to receive the award later today after playing a key role in England's run to the final of the Women's World Cup.

What time does it start?
The BBC Sports Personality of the Year program takes place tonight.
It will be held at MediaCityUK in Salford, home of BBC Sport.
The start is scheduled for 7:00 PM, with the grand prize expected to be awarded just before 9:00 PM.
Nominees
Maria Earps is the front-runner to be crowned BBC Sports Personality of the Year after being named on the six-person shortlist.
The England goalkeeper, 30, is the odds-on bookmakers' favorite to become the second Lioness in a row to lift the coveted award following Beth Mead's win last year.
Earps, who played when Sarina Wiegman's side reached the Women's World Cup final in August, faces competition from Ashes hero Stuart Breed and world heptathlon champion Katarina Johnson-Thompson.
Veteran jockey Frankie DettoriEurope's Ryder Cup talisman Rory McIlroy and wheelchair tennis No. 1 Alfie Hewett have also been nominated, but there is no place for 1500m gold medalist Josh Kerr.
The athlete who tops the public vote tonight will become SPOTY's 70th winner.
