With the highly anticipated Formula 1 race weekend of the season fast approaching, the Las Vegas circuit is starting to take shape.
We are now just days away from the most expensive race weekend in history and organizers in Sin City are finalizing their preparations.
As the stands go up and the track is constructed, F1 chiefs have made a subtle – but effective – nod to their surroundings with some brilliant casino-themed curbs.
Photos released on Friday show diamonds, hearts, clubs and spades spray-painted on the outer boundaries of the track ahead of the drivers’ arrival next week.
The permanent pit lane paddock structure was completed earlier this week and the grandstands are now being built, ready to welcome fans.

That said, there have been widespread reports this week that ticket sales in Vegas haven’t quite reached the expected heights for the race.
Motorsports website Oversteer48.com found approximately 10,000 unsold grandstand seats near the track’s recently built Sphere and East Harmon Zone when examining Ticketmaster data.
That lines up with a report from Road & Track, which found that hotel room prices have fallen by about a quarter over the past month to about $280 per night.

But regardless of whether the stands are full or not, Formula 1 is all set to descend on the Strip, where Max Verstappen and his 19 rivals will go wheel-to-wheel in one of the most famous cities in the world.
Red Bull driver Verstappen has already sealed the 2023 Drivers’ Championship after winning 17 of the 21 races so far this season.
There are only two races left, with Vegas followed by the grand finale in Abu Dhabi at the end of November.
