When Harry Met Meghan: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now considering making their own royal ROM COMS as the couple look to move towards making more “feel good” TV entertainment.

After their recent Netflix documentary was billed as their “love story,” Harry and Meghan are now considering making their own royal rom-coms as they look to produce more “feel-good” TV entertainment.

The couple is moving away from content about themselves and have several ‘fun’ TV series on the way, according to The Telegraph.

A source said: ‘There will be more emphasis on fictional and scripted content.

“It’s going to be rom-coms, feel-good, light-hearted shows.”

Following their Netflix documentary, Harry and Meghan are looking to make their own royal rom-coms while looking to make more “feel good” TV entertainment.

A source said: “There will be more emphasis on fictional and scripted content.”

Following their Netflix docuseries and Harry’s memoir, Spare, the couple will move away from their own experiences.

The pair will not appear on screen, but will instead take on less time-consuming executive producer roles, allowing them to pursue other projects and charities.

In his memoirs, The Duke of Sussex revealed that he used to binge-watch Friends, while Meghan said she had watched When Harry Met Sally “a million times” as well as “every Julia Roberts rom-com.”

The Duchess told Variety magazine last year: ‘People love love. I am not excluded in that sentiment.

And our definition of love is really broad: partner love, self-love, community and family love. We use that as the baseline for the kind of shows and documentaries we want to see come out.’

So far, the couple has largely focused on their own experiences.

But now they’ve decided to follow in the footsteps of the Duchess of York, whose second historical romance novel for Mills & Boon is published next month.

A friend said: ‘They’ve had enough of the spotlight for now. It was a difficult few weeks in many ways and they want to take a step back.

The Sussexes were spotted among the guests when their neighbor Ellen DeGeneres renewed her wedding vows to Portia de Rossi last week, but they are not expected to make any official engagements or travel until spring.

Both are working on individual projects, including the documentary series Duke’s Heart of Invictus, which is set to premiere this summer.

It comes as Harry and Meghan will be invited to the King’s coronation, and palace officials are already preparing for their attendance.

There is a ‘working assumption’ that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the state ceremony to crown King Charles sovereign, palace sources have told The Sun.

There were fears that Harry and Meghan’s attendance would try to overshadow and diminish the sincerity of the high-profile ceremony, especially as the royal family is still grappling with groundbreaking revelations from their Netflix series and Harry’s memoir.
